Sandler plays a variation of the same type of character in every single movie. He's always either a man-child of some sort or someone that used to be one. As a result, when he takes on a serious role he's an excellent actor by sheer virtue of experience. There was even talk of getting an Oscar for one of his latest movies, Uncut Gems.

Hey Jen, "Happy Gilmore" is definitely my top Adam Sandler film but an extremely close second, and the next film I'd like you to react to is "The Wedding Singer" (1998 - an absolute 80s blast!). Along with these: "The Waterboy" (1998); "Billy Madison" (1995); "Big Daddy" (1999); "50 First Dates" (2004); "The Longest Yard" (2005); "Anger Management" (2003); and a tie between "Mr. Deeds" (2002) and "Click" (2006). Another great comedy film that he produced but doesn't star in is "The House Bunny" (2008) which always leaves me in stitches! That needs to be on your list too. Ben Stiller's role was definitely a great side character for the film. "It's all in the hips." 😄😄 📽❤️

Prime example of extortion here! Grandma owns the house, or does she? They require payment for no reason or they take your home. That is extortion and it is illegal, yet they get away with it, because property tax has been normalized. You have to continuously pay money for permission to own stuff. Not one person has ever defended property taxes when i accuse it if being illegal. Because i am right! They are using force in order to get money, greed and corruption. By the way $270,000 at that time, was more expensive than that house was. Let that sink in.

Jen, most of Adam Sandler’s movies from Billy Madison (1995) to 50 First Dates (2004) are all very funny, heart warming worth watching.
Even after that, The Longest Yard and a few others I’ll list here, were pretty good.
After that it seemed like he just sort of ran out of ideas and and wasn’t 100% in it anymore.
He has some good serious roles too, if you want to check out the more dramatic roles.

      Billy Madison
      The Wedding Singer
      The Waterboy
Big Daddy (I think this will be one of your absolute favorites) also stars a very young little Cole Sprouse.
      Mr. Deeds
      Anger Management
      50 First Dates
      Just Go With It
      Blended
A little fun fact: the guy who played Doug Thompson in Happy Gilmore is the director Dennis Dugan, and did some of Adam’s best movies.

      Oh, I almost forgot.
Keep an eye out when you watch his movies for the cast members who are in most of his movies.
Allen Covert, for example played the homeless caddy in Happy Gilmore, and he’s in a bunch of Adam’s movies.

I love Adam's movies. Plus they always have great soundtracks. Haters can kick rocks. The Wedding Singer is my fave. 50 First Dates, Big Daddy, The Waterboy, Mr Deeds, Just Go With It, Grown Ups.... Love them all!

@ 21:36 ever since i was younger I always thought it was significant that after being hit by a car and injured he loses his long drive and shooter's drive in this scene is BARELY further than Happy's. Shooter sucks! I was also annoyed that they didn't just make a rigid glove that looks like a prosthetic for the character Chubbs to wear instead of 'holding' onto a fake hand, making his right arm about a foot longer than his left lol.
I've probably only seen this movie a couple hundred times haha! You should watch "Airheads" from 1994! It's got Sandler in it, but also Steve Buscemi and Brendan Fraser! "Bulletproof' is another HIGHLY underrated Adam Sandler movie (also has Damon Wayans and James Caan!). I hope you see these suggestions and add them to the list!!!

There is a deleted scene where Ben Stiller gets his comeuppance. It also made it into the TV version of the movie.

For a '90s comedy, I'd also suggest a Mike Myers flick called "So I Married An Axe Murderer".
Hasn't got as much notice these days as others, probably due to his Austin Powers movies that came after. Makes fun of romantic comedies, and the characters are great (like playing his own Scottish Father, and Viki the Alcatraz Tour Guide).

Jen, remember the guy with the nail in his head when you get to the Roger Moore era of James Bond. He's famous for playing a very memorable villain in two of those movies.

A few good Adam Sandler comedies are You Don't Mess with the Zohan, Blended, The Wedding Singer, Grown Ups 1 and 2. Also a few of my all time favourite comedies are Better Off Dead, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Superbad, Quick Change, Kingpin, What About Bob.

And you can count on ME liking this video... not in a parking lot though. Also I hate myself for this but at 8:44.... that's what she said. Also also the love interest is the mom from Modern Family and the big dude with the nail in the head played Jaws in the Bond movies.

Comedies have some the most underrated villains and Shooter is one of the greatest. He has two of the best self-own's ever with the rhyming lines and the POS for breakfast line. Shame you didn't get through a few more Bond's before this because the giant guy is a famous reoccuring Bond henchman called Jaws. I think he passed not long after doing this film. It's always a toss-up which Sandler film is the best - Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison. Growing up I always thought this movie was better because I guess it seemed more adult but I watched Billy Madison a few weeks ago and it I laughed way harder than I thought I would. I connect more to it as an adult.

Comedy classic. I know it's all about happy, but when I seen this in 96' as a 14 year old lad, shooter was the one that made me laugh the most, so much so, my mum had to tell to stop shooting my finger pistols.😂😂
    Brilliant reaction again Jen.
