if you wanna glide forever you can also just put alot of items in your inventory until you have 125% - 150 overweight or more for that (which btw isnt for PvP but it works for PvE ofc)

If you input the shift + rmb juuuuust before the directional key (a/d) it should use raghon spirit instead of tactical strike. If you continue holding shift from glide or slideshot then you should only have to worry about timing the rmb + (a/d) input, significantly easier than doing the cancel from idle state
Not sure what the issue is but i cant cancel gilde while holding w, work fine if i let it go, but it becomes kinda hard to combo and i dont see people letting go of w in videos, what might the problem be?

The trick is its super easy to use a slide shot while glide is on cooldown if you do it after a q swap. Otherwise its just alot of muscle memory and practice
Cooldown is the exact same on pc, thats why we need to use the extension to be ready for its cooldown. Im not sure how well the extension works on console though, someone in the archer discord is currently working on a console skating guide but no eta on when it will be released
I'm 297/301/323. In the current meta it's hard to be effective in node wars as an archer, but if you're passionate about the class you can certainly make it work. Takes much more effort to be valuable in largescale but totally worth it to play the class you love imo
I'm trying to do this on console but random gaping darkness casts are ruining it. I can't lock the skill since my pve rotation needs the skill. Other than that, it's doable to some extent.
Thats when you throw in Tactical Strike/Zephyr Leap etc. It makes stamina harder to manage but its not that hard to escape classes that aren't other archers
@@ika.6082 Yea but i believe the class need buff. Most of all when I die not in knockdown but when they SA trade my frontal guard goes brrr or i just low DP.

I am a console doubt, the movement comes out but the cut with raghon spirit does not come out and I get tactical strike, do I have to block the tactical strike?
Probably at the very least 281 with nouver to be viable in rbf+nws, could get away with less but being way less effective in rbf but for t2+ nws you want at least 289/293 to feel like you're doing anything DP we blow up no matter our dp, so aim for around 320 dp with nouver for nodewars

I went and added the extra caphras to get the DP aswell- what do you think? is that a big disadvantage?

dont know if you figured it out, but if you press shift -> left click -> w in this order it will ALWAYS use sliding shot even with glide off cd, just after some skills its left click before shift e.g after glissade

I keep having an issue with glissade, almost every time I go to use it it goes into the second shot and messes the whole thing up :(
Just have to make sure you only tap w+rmb, if you hold it for even half a second it will queue up the 2nd shot

Lock gaping darkness and throw it on your hot bar. Helps it not interfere with pvp combos

Definitely not necessary. They are nice to have, but dont add enough of a difference to justify using them over distortion earrings

I'm unsure on how to do it on console, but I would never suggest locking Tactical strike
You have to hold L2 if you don’t hold L2 it does tact strike
