Half of these facts are just basic information that you would know from watching Akira and googling it for a minute.
They are just plain wrong by fact 5. If only they had done a quick search first
Fact 5 correction, the film only covers the first half of the first volume and the last half of the last volume with big changes and a weird mashed together (yet still amazing) middle.

*Number 108:* Kaneda’s name is pronounced: Ka-Ne-Da. Not: Kan-Ay-Da which was a fault of the American voice actors mispronouncing the name in the 80’s dub. The Japanese Original and the 2001 dub however pronounce the name correctly.

At last check, the live-action Akira is dead. Like Sony before them, Warner Bros. planned for a live-action, Hollywood remake of Akira, but the project's budget was more than they wanted to spend.

Argh! You mispronounced this? #77: Kaneda has a REVERSE gear in the film. Not a reserve gear. The reverse gear is a preferred accessory to heavy motorcycles, allowing you to back out of a space without having to give yourself a hernia by pushing it out.
Wow, a lot of these details are really phoned in.
Im not sure about this but in GTA V the so called “Tron Bike” is named after Kaneda’s name. Its named “Nagasaki (Shotaro)” . It makes sense since the owners of Rockstar games, (The company that made GTA V) was huge movie geeks.

You can tell if you've read or watched Akira that none of the people involved in the making of this video have done either one.

I've always preferred the original English dub to the redub. Maybe its because thats the version I grew up with.
Fact 108: The english voice actors for Vash and knifes in trigun, play the voices for Kaneda and tetsuo(respectively) and they both have a scene where Vash/Kaneda is holding a bolder over Knifes/Tetsuo ready to kill him.
ok the soundtrak for akira is still the best soundtrack for an anime, possibly ever. still sends chills up my spine!

Fact 73 is wrong, Oliver and Company's budget was 3 times that of Akira's because american animation is waaaaaaaay more expensive than japanese animation which is why america out sources a lot.

I think he meant the cloak, not the arm (there is a hole in the cloak after Tetsuo get shot by the laser, then the hole is gone)....but we all know that's just because Tetsuo fixed it with his powers between the sequences.
so glad i finally know these must know facts. My life was an endless void until i saw this video. my thirst for knowledge was quenched when I gazed upon this video. I can die in peace.

I stopped on number 9. Being so short they are not facts but tidbits, it would help if you do not say each number. So much filler too, and not very good researched.

That's a grave misconception, it cuts large chunks out of the manga and changes the plot but it ends mostly the same. There isn't a "second half".

yeah Akira is pretty much credited for being the movie that introduced adult Anime to the United States. At the time of release it was far a head of its time when it came to animation.
Holy heck, I didn't expect that Mr Robot shout out. Saw the season finale just today, it's deffinetely a great show. Also nice facts, I only recently saw Akira for the first time, all the praise it gets is deffinetely deserved.
I must say, I enjoyed the Ghost in the Shell movie way more than the Akira movie, but I didn't realize they only included half of the manga in the Akira movie. Now I'm really excited to learn the whole story.

FUN FACT: Alejandro Jodorowsky had also planned that the ending to his adaption of Dune (Jodorowsky's Dune the greatest film ever IMHO) to end with many of the characters proclaiming "I am Paul". So I do now see his influence. Thank You for another amazing piece to two beautiful stories I love!!!

108- You mentioned Raphael from TMNT having a motorcycle similar to Kanada's but you failed to mention that Cam Clarke was the voice of Kanada in the first English Dub. We know Cam Clarke as Leonardo from the 1987 Ninja Turtles.
109. South Park had an episode named "Trapper Keeper" where Cartman transformed into the giant blob that Tetsuo became and he crushed Rosie O'Donell the same way Tetsuo crushed his girlfriend.
110. To anyone who plays the King of Fighters games then you probably remember the character K9999. He was a direct ripoff of Tetsuo from quoting his lines and even stealing his mannerism and his moves.
111. Also in KOF 2002 there was a character named Kusanagi who was a clone of the main character Kyo Kusanagi. He quoted some of Kanada's line when he fought K9999.
112. Kanada and Tetsuo had cameos in Robot Chicken. Kanada sang "Tetsuo! in a passing flip animation and Tetsuo appeared in the Dragonball Z christmas short screaming while Goku charged towards Mrs. Claus.
