I lost my dad 7 years ago to a heart attack. When he was in hospital and they had stabilised him, me and my family went to see him. We thought he was going to be ok but it was still very touch and go at that point. On our way out, I looked at him in the bed through the window. He didn’t say anything, but he winked and gave me a thumbs up. I had no idea that would be the last time I’d see him. Later that night he unexpectedly passed away after a second heart attack. It was a moment that always reminded me of that scene in T2 when he gives him the thumbs up when he descends into the lava. Whenever I hear this I always think of that moment with my dad and I’m so glad that I got to experience it.
I lost my mom last year in april, and when I got home from the hospital that night, I somehow stumbled onto this. I broke down crying every time I listened to it, but for some reason, it brought me peace. Thank you for this piece of music.
My grandpa passed on April 1 last month at the hospital alone and I wish I was there to be with her in her last moments, listening to this makes me extremely grateful for everything she did for me, if it wasn’t for her I’d be with my irresponsible/alcohol father/mother
Watching John with the machine, it was suddenly so clear. The Terminator would never stop. It would never leave. And it would never hurt him. Never shout at him or get drunk and hit him, or say it was too busy to spend time with him. It would always be there. And it would die to protect him. Of all the would be fathers that came and left over the years, this thing, this machine was the only one who measured up. In an insane world it was the sanest choice.
Indrius Seriously, you have seen the first two Terminator movies right? This is not optimistic at all. It's a eulogy for a species that intelligent enough to build cities, computers and satellites, but too stupid to see the value in life. That spent the majority of their existence killing each other, when they should've been helping each other. A species that bled the same color, but refused to see past the color of one's skin. A species that did so much harm to their own planet, that it could no longer sustain life anymore. You should know what species I'm talking about, if you don't then we're already doomed.
I played this song while I was driving and it was the middle of the night on a long highway with nobody in sight and it made me ponder life lmao that's how good this is lol
Makes you think about the Nuclear Fire/Judgement Day in T2. How the half the human race was wiped out by the very weapons they built to protect themselves. Then you remember what the T-800 said to John Connor after he sees two little kids fighting with toy guns...”It’s in your nature to destroy yourselves.”

I just watched Dark Fate, and realised the emotions i have with the series, i was a 2005 kid but grew up with the films, I remember crying everytime rewatching the scenes arnold dies or leaves(t2,t3,t4 5,t6). It's always this version of the theme that makes me go back to memories and I become emotional, not just because of teenage years and being female, just the T800 in general. Thank you Terninator,Arnold,Linda, and everyone for building my childhood.
I cried many times because since T2 it is for me so heartbreaking to see this good hearted Robot die again and again Just to save us human MFs. We don't deserve him. We need to change so He doesn't have to sacrifice his Life anymore for us Silly Beings. :-C
I was the same way as a kid growing up and every time they showed arnold sacrificing himself for the greater good in Terminator 2, I would start getting all teary eyed. I don't know why, but I always do get teary eyed for Arnold in movies when he has to sacrifice himself.
My mom battled cancer for 10 years. She died yesterday after the cancer finally took over. This song makes me think about the impact she has and will have on my life as I promised her I would be rich and famous one day. I will never stop working until I fulfill my promise to her. We used to watch the terminator movies, so listening to this is sad... but at the same time it gives me peace, knowing that she is in a better place now, and almost as if I can see the future of me, accomplishing my promise to her and watching the sunset in California from my mansion.
As I accepted fate, I saw before my eyes, the life I had lived, I now realized that world no longer mattered, only eternal life, that through salvation. Never to return to the world, but to offer peace to others, whether I've been wronged or deceived, I will now set aside all worldly views and opinions and focus on redemption through which I am not worthy of, now I realize that as I am being consumed by earth, I leave a legacy behind, only to lift my hand above reaching for the sky, now knowing that as I deepen into a valley that only I can journey to on my own, not knowing the day would arrive, but my entire existence, nothing but a blink of an eye, I take the scars, the pain, the agony, with me the burdens of the world....I'll be back...👍
Loved the parte about seeing his future before his eyes, he always talked about having a vision. Really a precious speech for arnold, thank you for writting it

RIP Diesel Patches 😭! You will be loved and missed!
I Love this Era of T2. It won't be back to this world and so is Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Much love and respect to him. The maker of this song.. Wow.. A slow tempo makes me cry. Love to all.
