I'm just realizing you could do an hour-long video about Colin Robinson alone, examining the subtle mechanics of energy vampirism in minute detail. Colin would approve.
Lol he prolly would. Come check my stories about the live events behind the show in portland back in the day.
It might work better as a PowerPoint.
Nandor is the polar opposite of what a vampire is supposed to be like; scary, bossy, abrasive etc he’s so polite. And what’s even funnier, is that he wasn’t always like that, he used to be a relentless warlord lol
Also, the familiars are never treated with respect because they’re basically human slaves for the vampires.
But he's Nandor the relentless.
He never relents 🤣🤣🤣
Nandor totally loves Gizmo, though.
Actually they all represent different styles of vampire in movie , book, and pop culture through the years.
Going into just Nandor and Guillermo’s relationship alone would require a two hour video lmao.
"okay so you shouldnt hiss" really made me laugh
Watch the rest of the series, you'll have a field day just with the interaction between Nandor and Guillermo.
Please do more of these! I'm absolutely in love with this show and it doesn't get the exposure and recognition it deserves :(
its a great show
There's a therapist discussing WWDITS on my phone.
I love the internet!
Both versions of this movie are great. They are similar yet distinct enough to really watch both of them. Very fun premise.
The fact that this video exists is funny enough, but the fact that the character being consistently praised for his interactions with others is Nandor is absolutely sending me. He may be polite in house meetings, but that man has the emotional intelligence of a brick.
Agreed with the others here that an analysis of the Nandor/Guillermo dynamic from a therapist's perspective would be interesting, hahaha.
Have you seen the finale?
@@d3l3tes00n I have! :) (Looking forward to July 12th for S4!)
@@doctortalisman9861 Omg I'm so excited lol It ended on such a cliffhanger
@@d3l3tes00n Right, the way the dynamics have been set up will be so interesting to see play out! And I've heard some... interesting stuff about leaks ;).
i love this series, i wish it were more popular so there was more incentive for channels to cover it.
Hissing is a perfectly valid form of communication and I'll die on that hill. 😾
hahahaha Hiss =)
Haven’t watched this yet. Looks fun!
You should check out "Colin's Promotion" Season 2, Episode 5.
This is great!!! I love the show and their dynamic is really fun, always curious about how healthy they actually are as a group
Georgia, your videos were so therapeutic to me, I think your positivity really shines through them and just listening you talking about human relationships somehow soothes my mind. I'm going through a harsh period and your analysis on emotions was really comforting. Thank you!
I am so happy to hear they were helpful for you
@@GeorgiaDow thank you so much for your reply! I am sure your channel will explode even more because of the contagious good energy you spread all around ^^
I know armchair diagnoses are bad but for fictional vampires I figure it's fine - Laszlo, to my little ADHD heart, seems incredibly ADHD if you watch him in the show.:D
i hear you. I may =)
Yes do one with only Colin Robinson! I’d argue he’s the most evil and powerful of the four vampires
hahah yes Colin
Why is this so funny and helpful to me
There are so many moments in this show that are fascinating from a psychological perspective. I enjoyed this!
You mean I can no longer hiss when I get into a argument. Damn.
This was too good. Thank you!
Best show, love you channel! Thank you!
I love how you're examining them as if you were in the WWDitS world yourself. It's very funny.
I have to say: I just now ran across your work on this video. I was looking for reactions and reviews for What We Do in the Shadows. I started the show a while back but just got back into using Hulu and…blah blah blah. Anyway, I absolutely loved this, I hit that subscribe button, and I absolutely look forward to viewing your back-log and your future work. I just wanted to say thank you for this. I look forward to you popping up in my feed, hopefully you’re still doing this haha. Very badass human.
Thank you for making this video 🧛♀️ 👍
👀 Great reactions. I enjoyed your commentary. Blessings on your day 🍎
Just found you, and I loved it!! Already Liked and Subbed. A big fan of the show I was very impressed with how you read the various situations and rationally helped us to better understand how humans...or vampires...should act and treat one another. Fantastic. I'm going to marathon your channel for a few days now. See ya around.
Absolutely love this here show!!
You shoulda seen the group dynamics of the actual irl actors of portland who did the original content for the show. The show recreates live events that occurred around portland at the time by a talented group of actors who were often hired to do live events to promote various businesses and events and such… in character. These people were HILARIOUS, & sometimes the audience could interact. Analyzing it this way is great… they’d think it was cool cuz they were always doing that too. The interviews for the private school they were tryna get Baby Collin Robinson into were some of the most hilarious stuff I’ve ever seen… Baby Collin Robinson’s story was to promote a Cabaret show in town he performed at sometimes. As the storyline of how he was born progressed around town for several weeks, fans of the acting group followed along all over town. Give those talented actors a hand (the irl actors, cuz they worked hard for years on that project!)
Sorry, what do You mean by irl actors? You mean the ones that make the show?
@@universalpower419 in real life= irl. As in all of these events from the show took place. In the city of portland Thru live events. Public performances of a vampire group of talented characters, some of whom were friends. I was friends with Lazlo & Naja. I helped on many of them. Shared some of those stories in my Growing Up In Rock N Roll playlist but I’m sharing for a reason cuz I don’t have long. And there’s some deceased friends that never got justice. So sharing my life story in hopes their stories and contributions tk the arts don’t go away when I di*.
Loving this
yay
@@GeorgiaDow ♥️🇧🇷
I feel like Jermaine Clement would get a kick out of this vid.
Whilst the American TV Show is great, the film it is based on is fantastic and would love to see you do a bunch of videos on that one.
I love this :')
Could you do more group communications in TV shows? This was great.
I never realized how great Nandor was at leading their meetings
You have to watch the original movie. Its fantastic
Hope you do others with WWDITS!
When do u start the its always sunny in Philadelphia reactions?
It's probably not your style of show Mrs. Dow but can you give a therapist perspective of the characters on the show Mad Men, i can't find anything on youtube about it. Also love your Marvel videos especially
Oh how i wish i had access to this but it's not on any of my platforms. Side note I would actually feel bad about taking a wood stake to them.
I'd love to see your take on the original movie
Great insight into calmness, courtesy and respect (and of course, into what the Black Widow Therapist watches on her down time ;) I deal with racists constantly. Work, community, church, neighbors...I can't trust the things they say or do as I always have to be aware of a need to question their motivations. It takes SO much to converse with calmness, courtesy and respect, because I know what they have done and what they have tried to get away with. I can verbally puree someone if I am so inclined, but I also know that won't change their minds, hearts or motivations. Although...it may cause them to hesitate when targeting me. Not always easy choices.
I'm a huge fan of *Chicago Med.* Would like to see you react to *Dr. Daniel Charles Psychiatrist.*
Other suggestions *Rick and Morty Pickle Rick episode.* It has a therapy scene. Maybe *Pixar's Inside Out.*
I had no idea there was such a thing as vampire psychologist. 🤔
I imagine Guillermo watching this.😂
Great fun video as always, have you seen the original movie that was made in New Zealand (my homeland)? Cheesy fun :)
Also Outrageous fortune, Once were warriors, Lord of the Rings, Avatar (the Blue alien one) etc all made here first and ripped off by other countries.
Yes I have seen it and it was great =)
Why stop here? Check out the original.
Nandors born during the 12 hundreds had a country but got run out and it dissolves in 1401
Have you looked at our flag means death yet?
Energy vampires are real.
"I just found your channel. I think this is a really cool idea. However, from an editing standpoint, because I'm a video editor, you need to let your videos breathe a bit more when you're cutting between yourself and the show. It just feels like a constant barrage of you interjecting, instead of letting some of the scenes play out a little bit first. I suggest you do that so you can let your audience enjoy the scene naturally for what it is first, and then you can provide commentary afterward. Also, break it up by scenes instead of interjecting every couple of words after characters talk. ❤🎥😀👍🏻 Hope that helps. I think this is a really cool idea, though. But you really need to let scenes play out more."
I still hope that, one day, people will actually look up the definition of "offended". Maybe in a few years, when wokeness rots away next to the emo wave
