I charge for the initial home staging. Then after 2months if the home is still on the market, there's a stage rental fee from $500- 750 per month if the home owner chooses to keep the home stage. Here in Northern Ca. 4wks is not enough time. If you charge for 4wks, I don't see how you're making any money. This discourages the home owner from staging if they feel they're paying for just a month. In my area staging is from $4000- $15,000. Sometimes it takes 60 days just to get a solid offer.
It has been such a blessing coming across this video. Thank you so much for sharing these gems! You ladies have been more than helpful ❤️ God bless and I feel like you both have given me the insight and conversation that I needed to get started on my journey!
I absolutely love watching your videos. So incredibly helpful! I’m new to the staging business. Just got my LLC…tax ID and domain. Definitely going to be taking your course! Thanks for helping us newbies learn the ropes!
Hi! Thank you so much for your comment! You have no idea how much joy it brings us, to help other people in the industry. We really struggled in the beginning, to find support and get the answers we needed and we are thrilled that we are able to be a helpful resource to you. Please let us know what you would like to see in our upcoming videos. We are always looking for new topics to discuss!
I’m taking over the inventory and clients of an existing staging company and am absolutely loving your videos - I’m learning so much!!! Quick question though…what all goes in your “tool kit”?
What is the name of your company and what is the link? I am interested is seeing how it looks and what your esthetic is like. New subscriber, loving these videos.
We live in a coastal area so we keep most of our furnishings within the coastal aesthetic. We have some farmhouse accessories, as well as some more modern accessories when the home lens itself to that type of look, but for the most part, we stay within the coastal because of the proximity of our town to the ocean.
Hello, i recently started following you. Thank you for all the information, so far the best channel for this. I've try many of the links provided, but they are not working/ May i doing something wrong or did you got rid of them? Thank you
Hi!! I saw your questions but for some reason, it wouldn’t let us reply. Then RUclips said the comments were removed. Not sure wheats up but we would love to answer your questions. Do you want to email them to me? Erin@revisionsofwilmington.com
@@RevisionsMentor Hello ladies, I am glad you mentioned my prior questions. I was afraid I may have offended you. My most recent inquiry is that I would love to get your view on requesting payment for a vacant in-home staging consultation. During training, it was suggested to change for the vacant staging consultation then applying a credit for the consultation fee at the final billing, if the staging job is placed. I feel perhaps that is something I should not apply considering I am just starting out. Please provide your thoughts. Thank you.
Hi! Here's how we do it....we charge $200 for the vacant consultation. If the client decides to purchase a staging package from us, then we waive that original $200 fee. Hope this helps! In the spirit of learning, no questions are off limits. We are all out here learning together. :) Jen
@@RevisionsMentor Thank you! Your guidance and information are always helpful! I am grateful to you both, I am sure sooo many others are as well. My goal is to one day be able to give back to newbie stagers as well. Thank you for all that you.
We don’t typically charge for the consultation if they hire us to do the staging installation. If they don’t hire us, we charge for an hour of work. All of this is stipulated in the introduction email that we sent before we go out for the site visit.
We offer our edited photography to the real estate agent to use on the MLS and no, we do not hire a cleaning crew, but we refer a cleaning crew to the homeowner
If the client has to go beyond the month for the staging and I'm renting the furniture, beside the additional furniture rental fee, what should I be charging? Thanks!
What should I charge is I live in Nevada County California and am band new at this ? (: I google it but the prices vary so much I don’t wanto over or under charge (:

Hi there! So happy to hear that you’re enjoying the videos. The company is called Revisions of Wilmington.
Hi, amazing videos! Appreciate your advice❤
How many hours does it typically take the movers to do their thing? Say, for a 2500 sqft house.
We can usually have an entire house set up and complete within four hours
When going to different types of houses, like Farmhouse versus Modern industrial, Do you have furniture for all types of styles?
We live in a coastal area so we keep most of our furnishings within the coastal aesthetic. We have some farmhouse accessories, as well as some more modern accessories when the home lens itself to that type of look, but for the most part, we stay within the coastal because of the proximity of our town to the ocean.
I absolutely love your information.
Can you give ideas on where you can rent furniture? This information is greatly appreciated.
Thank you 🙏

Do you charge for the initial consultation when you take your pictures and measurements and create a rough plan before putting together the quote?
We don’t typically charge for the consultation if they hire us to do the staging installation. If they don’t hire us, we charge for an hour of work. All of this is stipulated in the introduction email that we sent before we go out for the site visit.
Can you guys help me come up with my pricing please?
Hi! I would be happy to. Send me an email and I can get you set up for our one on one mentor program. Erin@revisionsofwilmington.com

Lol. “Download”.
Hello.. Do you guys post the photos on the market?
Do you hire cleaning crew

Thank you so much 💓
If the client has to go beyond the month for the staging and I'm renting the furniture, beside the additional furniture rental fee, what should I be charging? Thanks!
We just charge a rental fee which is usually about 50% of the installation and first months rent.
I'm a home stager in Santa Rosa, Ca I'd try purchasing your own furntiure. I've been a home stager for 10yrs.
Owning your own furniture is best.
Thanks @@terrencehowell9203
