Who are your best friends and why are they special to you?
My BESTEST Best friend is Vivian. She is an amazing wife, and awesome mother to her son Elijah and daughter who takes care of her mentally ill mother. She is not the most outgoing or personable woman, but when she is your friend, she is ALL in. She is genuine and honest and so loving. We can always count on each other for anything. She is the ONLY person I can literally sit on the phone with for hrssss on end, and sometimes we be on the phone and not even talking to each other. Lol
My best friend.... of over 30 years... and we are not 40... she is light skinned and im brown skin.. i was hindu then and she was christian.... complete opposites that complimented each other..... she had some difficult times when we were 15 16....so she moved in with my family then...and we slept in the same bed...share clothes.. meals....chores... it was all so great .... and we bonded....and that love never changed... (we both came from very humble back grounds....and the little we had became so much of joy) .... poverty was not going to break us... so to friendship...
I haven't got a best friend, had one back in the day during my primary school years - .... but unfortunately we've grown apart as adults. Being a slow child growing up, and recently I found out during a mutual conversation, that I had a stigma attached to me as a kid ( which was STUPID ), due to my .... behavioural patterns - .... had speech impediments, slow walker, slow cognitive responses etc ), and now it's being less taught off me - anyway I'm sharing all this to say, apparently they weren't my friends at all, but rather an attraction who'd being made fun of all the time, but that's ok, I've since matured into the woman I am today - a woman of strength, determination, I have a " never give up " mentality " etc. Althoigh, I still have the characteristics of that girl who once was, I'm tougher for it - ..... and thus I " ride alone " ( no friends here).

My best friend is Tessika. We found each other in college. I consider her to be my sister. We have always been honest and real with each other, similar to your BF relationship and had each other’s back. You remind me so much of her!! Thanks so much for sharing!
I have known my best friend since the 3rd grade and we are now in our 30'S. I experienced her 1st baby with her and I was grateful to be apart of her wedding last year. My best friend is an amazing human being, and she is always there for me. I love her so much

I can relate to this and I am Tia and Tamara's age. My husband reminds me of two of my best friends growing up rolled into one. So weird but true.
@Free I think because they're both calm, patient, understanding, protective, attentive, easy-going/laid-back, etc. Great attributes to have, and it's rare to find someone, let alone a couple of people, who embodies all of that and not just only partially.

I am the girl version of my boyfriends best friend 🤷🏻♀️ we all went to school together but I didn’t even realize how similar to his best friend & I was until he realized it and started pointing out the similarities. Personality and random behaviors. Mostly not good traits 😬🤷🏻♀️

I'm in love with this friendship!! I love the honesty and genuine love y'all have for each other. Even though poor Jessica looked to be uncomfy being in front of the camera until she would talk directly to Tia. I have a BFF she loves me w my flaws but is also quick to call me out when I am wrong. My best friend and I knew each other since high school and we are still best friend today
My best friend is actually a guy. We grew up together. We both have cerebral palsy. Our mom's met at a support group for children with CP and we've been best friends ever since. His name is Gary Coleman (not joking). The thing that I love the most about him Is that he's very raw and real. He'll tell you like it is yet he is the most supportive and loving individual you'll ever meet. We've been best friends since we were one and two years old. One of the most awkward experiences that we've ever shared was in college. We had a few classes together one semester and I didn't remember seeing him all day. So, finally her last class has come around. Come to find out. He was playing hooky with his girlfriend. Just then his mom, who's like a mother to me, was waiting at the bus stop for us. She asked me did he show up to class that day. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm a terrible liar. So needless to say it didn't end well. Lol

I like how your husband honors your friendship. A lot of men try to isolate a close friendship like that out of being threatened. That’s what happened to me and my friend. You can tell a man loves you when he respects your friends❤️
When my best friend and I met we were 16 & 17. Now we are 45 & 46 years old. (she's the oldest by 7 months and I NEVER let her forget) During that many years of friendship you can & will experience a plethora of highs and lows and just plain ole everyday life journeys. You get to share all the wonderful, beautiful, hard and ugly moments that you each go through spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally and even financially. And at the end of the day all of that will only make you stronger and better friends. A biological sister "has" to love you forever and ever but your one true BFF chooses to love you forever.
This year makes 39 years, that my friend Tina and I have been best friends. We always laugh about not liking each other when we first met, and people never believe that story Lol. She’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and she always goes out of her way to make sure everyone is doing well. I admire her for the great job she did raising her seven daughters (yes seven), practically by herself. She’s more than my bestie, she’s my sister.
you will never get rest again after the baby is born.. My sons are grown and I still am tired.. My sons are 9 years apart.. Both of you are sweethearts.. thank you Tia for sharing your life with us..
