Livesey's two greatest roles? I think they need to make room for a third: "I Know Where I'm Going!". He was quite good in that role, and it is a wonderful movie.
Miss Hunter loves Clive you can see that when he hugs her ,and she closes her eyes, and looking at him as she is standing next to Theo saying goodbye . Miss Kerr is so brilliant at those little looks that say so much .
John Lawrie is in it as an Army driver for Clive Candy, then his butler and then joins the Home Guard, 20 years later he joins the Home Guard in Dad's Army
