Listening to two of my favorites on a rainy afternoon, perfect.
Who needs tv? These are amazing.
I could listen to Vincent Price for hours and hours and hours. Peter Cushing was awesome too.
Vincent Price, top quality.
And Christopher Lee 👌🏻❤️
I can't imagine why any woman would want to cheat on Peter Cushing! He's so exceptionally charming.
Sadly, kind gentlemen like him often go for shrewish women who treat them badly. My grandpa Henry was such a man. He was charming - every women who met him was bowled over by him and wished he was their husband! But his own two wives treated him abominably. He died of a heart attack in his sixties - his wife, my step-grandma, failed to call an ambulance until it was too late to save him. She inherited everything. A true and tragic story. 'Beware what you want', as the saying goes. Twice my grandpa Henry wanted and married women who brought him only misery and ultimately, death.
glamdolly20 Wow you actually lived a film noir! I apologize if it sounds mean but it does sound like a movie!
This is perfect! Of course with Price and Cushing in their prime, it’s not surprising! A perfect dance of voices. “Oh yeah I worried!” The sarcasm dripping off of her!
Two masters at the top of their game in a beautifully crafted tale and a cracking ending. Thanks for uploading.
These guys were a class act!
My two favorite actors. I'm enjoying these radio story broadcasts. Never knew "Price of Fear" existed. Thanks for the program.
This was fabulous! It actually made you use your imagination, something no one uses for the good much anymore. I hope there will be more like this. Thanks.
two remarkable voices!!! thank you so much for the upload.
It's wonderful to hear this. Thanks!
+pmdk1953 You're most welcome!
Brilliant ending
Superb, thank you.
Many thanks for this upload. Fantastic piece.
Thank you for posting this, absolute delight to listen to these two icons and the story was very entertaining as well.
This is wonderful. Wow.
We over the years have lost all our great horror stars (and in my opinion) also the loss of great quality horror movies. When Peter cushing died it seems that he took the (modern) Gothic horror film with him. Look at the lousy state of the horror genre which still seems stuck in it's dreadful 'torture porn' phase that we have now. All these dreadful brain dead sequels that pretend to offer something new. Horror needs a rebirth which would include making movies with real professional character actors and a return to the 50's 60's and seventies style of writing with a good dose of Edgar Allan Poe. I also hate the use of rock music being used in modern day horror films as a return to a much simpler creepy incidental music would effect the mood of the viewer for the better. Long may they rest in peace: Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price, Basil Rathbone and Peter Lorre !!
I know this comment is a year old but you are so right!!!!!!!!
Lee's passing ended the classic era. Gone but never forgotten.
