The ROL area and the promo tour lasted for about 2 Years. The most work she put into promoting the album and the single releases. I hope if their is another album that she really throws are self headlong into the promo. I just wish Liz was still there. Maybe she could get a publicist who was trained by Liz and her company. I notice other commenters think she was flirting with him and that she found him attractive...I don't get that so much, but she WAS extremely kind and generous. I kept thinking, wow this interview is SO LONG! She was so nice to sit through it. He was good, though, very unpretentious. TBH, I'm only just discovering Madonna😬 Always "knew" her but never really paid attention to her. And then suddenly this week I'm looking into her work and it's amazing how much I'm learning. However, it's bittersweet because she's also changed so much in the last few years-- she's utterly unrecognizable right now...not just physically but her energy or something. She doesn't seem to be enjoying life right now. She doesn't exude joy and radiance or strength and power. And it's so much a part of her story. Makes me feel sad but hopefully she'll come out of this phase

Before this one, I thought maybe that Jane Pauly one from the mid 80s (True Blue era) was the best in-depth interview (hour long), although I thought the one she did during the Confessions Era with Parkinson was a good runner up. With these interviews you can see the consistency in her character and professionalism. She means business (the professional manufactured side) but she's also cheeky (the natural side). That dichotomy, or as she says contrast/contradiction, that exists in all of us is very apparent.
Criticism and rubbing people the wrong way is part of an artists package. So true. We can exercise our sadness through our work not through others. Thanks so much Veronica!

He’s being typically English. Being honest, being sarcastic and generally just lighthearted taking the piss (being cheeky and humorous).. I think she liked his honesty, it was probably refreshing after years of listening to inanely bland questions.
That was pretty hypocritical of her to criticize the symmetry of his face. Madonna doesn’t have a very symmetrical face herself, especially pre plastic surgery.
