I have bistro lights in our patio area and they give off enough light to where family and friends can enjoy sitting outside and dine, relax, or lounge on our couch. I really love your ideas. 😊😃😃👍🏾👍🏾❤️❤️
In most of your videos, you talk about elevations, and steps. Are there any videos where you have the elderly in mind and design thinking about how they would have mobility with a wheel chair or walker? Thank you for your answer before hand.
It would be important for the overall look and feel have your outdoor living space... It will turn in ordinary backyard into off the charts outdoor living
I like it all! From the elevation, to the journey, to the lighting's, to the use of a water feature, I like it all. A few years ago, we built a gazebo, which we did elevate. However, I wished I saw you guys before. This year we extended the back porch, and hopefully next year, (God's willing) we will be doing a deck. I wish I could use you guys. 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for all your great ideas. I agree with the commenters who mention that elevation changes may look great but when you have mobility issues it makes me cringe to think of dealing with steps. Have you put in elevation changes with ramps that are handicap friendly? I do like to dream of having a nice back yard living space and appreciate your videos and inspiration.
Thank you Janice. We have done a few with ramps. I am actually doing one right now. I'll make sure to show it off in a future video. Thank you again for your support
3d design www.backyardlivingguyde.com/3d-design-process you can book an appointment directly to our calendar. I hope our process is a good fit for u? Have a wonderful day.
It's not for me as beautiful they are. I don't like step down or step up more than 3", be it for the fire place or covered patios or swimming pools. People getting drunk will fall down or the elderly having trouble walking up or down the stairs, or the little kids playing around fall and get hurt. 3" off the ground is just to keep the place from getting flooded is okay for me.

Beautiful.. When will you be in San Antonio? I need help with my backyard..
Sounds good. Can we start with the 3D Design? www.backyardlivingguyde.com/3d-design-process
Does your company design the lighting plans for the project also
We would represent we're lighting should go... You would have to speak with a local lighting company to come up with the installation plan
who designed this Portland's yard?
If you don't have much mobility how are you supposed to get around
Good point Martha. Question, how would the person without mobility get around prior to getting the backyard space?
@@BackyardDesignGuy I did get some good tips from you like dividing the area but the elevation I don't think my walkers to go up and down hills
I have a question on a fire pit on this video… it looks custom made, how do I get info on that?
Its 100% custom made. We designed it and also figured out how to build it 🤣
Where are your designs for the backyard if you have a pool and hot tub already in your backyard?
How do I contact you regarding a 3D design

Lol. I understand. Flat is boring but may be for functional for some.
