I Love that place. Great place to take kids with the easiness of the hunt. Keep the Videos coming.

Glad to see you out rockhounding again!! That wonder stone is CRAZY !! Great idea to go to places that aren’t that well known. I always do a search on you tube before we take a trip . That’s where I find most of my outa state rockhounding locations. Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks! I am getting a lot of response about less-well known places, so I will definitely focus on those!

It is good to see you back in action! It sounds like you are getting close to earning your sheepskin, congratulations in advance! I believe that more videos of you heading out on prospecting trips to new areas of discovery would create some very cool content for your channel. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! I think I would prefer trying to discover new areas anyway.

Never hunted wonderstone. I’ve paid a lot for what I have. Thanks for showing where it comes from. I’m going to have to go this summer. Thank you

Is Wonderstone a lithic material? Can one knap arrow points with it? Cool stuff either way!

It is mostly ash that is partially welded. It would not knap very well at all unfortunately.

    1. Congratulations on the Masters degree. 2. There are 2 areas out that way. But you have great pieces/finds. Nice job. 3. Any chance your gonna do a small group hunt? Also I drove out there in a Ford Taurus so it’s super accessible.

Is the second area in the same hills or a different/hill mountain all together? Once I am finished with the degree, I would like to take people out on hunts.
