mig is around 8.5m and fa18 has around 9.35m so they are good for lift but what about gate, this wasdefence matrix's point and i guess its correct coz gate is shorter than lift so navy must consider this factor too

It is quiet obvious that you don't know anything about flight deck operations. Flight deck paints don't allow rusting if properly applied . Old Vikrant and Viraat did not corrode when they were in use . Cannot just cut the deck to fit new lifts . There will be problems with angled deck ops. Even the old Vikrant had a better design for the angle deck and arrested wire positioning . .

P. S.A.M. Sacrificial anodes are made out of zinc. They are underwater. Zinc does not rust.

First navy should give strong statement reg fighter jet. Otherwise tedbf developers may confuse whether to proceed or not. People may event get confused which fighter will join the fleet.
So are sea trials composed of such small small trials?? I thought it was one big trial and it will b in sea for around 6-7 months

Some guys are fighting over rusting, let me tell you, mere painting is not a solution, ship parts that you see rusting are infact Sacrificial Anodic plates they are supposed to get corroded, probably you have studied Sacrificial Anode method for protection of ships in 12th std. and ICCP (Induced current Cathodic Protection) methods, where an external electric DC source is used to make ship anode and Cathodic plate cathode, so that ship can be saved. ICCP special indian version has been developed by naval research laboratory, so calm down.

I hope that Indian Govt & Navy will consider to develop IAC-2 as a CATOBAR version of INS-Vikrant with:-
(1) EMALS
(2) At least a 280m long flight deck
At the same time IAF must partner with IN in the TEDBF (ORCA) program.
Once IAC-2 is developed Indian Govt & Navy can consider about development of a 3rd Aircraft-Carrier (IAC-3) to replace the ageing INS-Vikramaditya.
India only needs 3-mid size non-nuclear CATOBAR Aircraft-Carriers to achieve:-
(1) Dominance in IOR
(2) Strong presence in South-China Sea

It is quiet obvious that you don't know anything about flight deck operations. Flight deck paints don't allow rusting if properly applied . Old Vikrant and Viraat did not corrode when they were in use .
Cannot just cut the deck to fit new lifts .
There will be problems with angled deck ops. Even the old Vikrant had a better design for the angle deck and arrested wire positioning .
