This technique is a very efficient way of windrowing undesirable materiel from your paddock. Used an eight reel rake in Western Australia with great success in 1983. Was great on stones too. Only had a 140Hp 2wd tractor. Variable pitch is great when you have a full rake . Looks like a very robust machine.
New had a new land farm down at ravensthorpe WA 1980s, our first rake was the big old, tall orange rake ( pedrick I think) towed by Chamberlin 354 countryman , then upgraded to the lower center of gravity yellow western which we towed in tandem behind a 4480 Chamberlin...( could have my wires crossed I was only in primary school back then,) But I know dad didn't tow them at warp speed like these guys are doing in a clean paddock, don't see the pin wheels jumping up a lot over stumps and buried rocks....

@@scrubnbeach6869 What did you think of the Western 7 rakes? Currently looking at a set. Not much around.
@@MrTburrell western 7...great rakes...a few getting around anywhere from 7 to 13 grand depending on condition
@@scrubnbeach6869 Thanks mate. Do a good job hey?
An old concept re modelled. That is some tough machine 👍maybe even turn your hay crop as well 😂😂
a nice windrow to maybe mulch up and spread out get some organics into the topsoils to hold water?
With all the different kinds of rakes, how do you choose one over the other without getting hoodwinked by a over aggressive saleman?
A gdzie pinki na czym rosły te drzewa czy to tylko na potrzeby reklamy tej maszyny rozsypano te gałęzie ?
Are the tines made of adamantium? Seems like a very high maintenance attachment. Hauls ass though
