Han Xu is going to be a phenomenal player in the WNBA for a very long time. She plays like Yao Ming. When she gets stronger, her post game would become even more dominant inside just like Yao Ming. She definitely needs to be a starter for a WNBA team by next season with her impressive performance so far this season.

Damn she was DOMINANT during the Asian Cup, easily winning the MVP trophy after averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game on some crazy shooting efficiency (60% on 2 point attempts, 78% on FT attempts, and a WILD 64% on 3 point attempts!!!).

Xan Hu and Sabrina Ionescu should be having the Liberty on top, what gives?
The NY Liberty should have a much better record with the talents they have in Sabrina Ionescu and Han Xu. But Han Xu doesn't get the ball a lot to score in most games. She rarely gets to shoot more than 10 shots a game. She should also be getting more playing time, like more than 20 minutes per game. She should be given the opportunity to start and close out games. With Han Xu's elite offensive skills from all 3 levels (low post game, midrange game and 3 point game) as clearly shown from her performance in this game against the Las Vegas Aces, she should be the first or second scoring option for the NY Liberty, in my opinion. But right now, I don't even think she is the third scoring option for this team. For the NY Liberty to be a dangerous and winning team, they need to run the offense through Han Xu and build around her.
Why did they let her go? Han Xu seems to play so great.
