If anyone is having issues with running two of these monitors at once on your PC like myself... They still encounter a lot of flickering 'signal lost' behaviour between screens, as things like games go full screen but it seems to lock up your PC less than if using DP. They really need to fix the software/firmware.

Acer are unintentionally confusing people regards the difference with the FP version. They should state clearly: 1) X32 is more expensive than the X32 FP, because the X32 has extra costly hardware for 'GSync Ultimate' 2) 'GSync Ultimate' hardware only works with HDMI2.0 not HDMI 2.1 3) The overclocked high 165Hz speed of the FP requires HDMI2.1, so it made no sense to add the 'GSync Ultimate' hardware chip to the FP causing it to be confusingly priced lower despite seeming better in terms of speed 4) The X32 FP should in theory still support 'Gsync' but not 'Gsync Ultimate' - it would be beyond stupid if it didn't 5) Acer employees replying in the comments here are confusing people asking about (4) as they keep linking to the Nvidia GSync support list that only lists the X32 and not the X32 FP. So potential customers have no idea if the X32 FP supports vanilla 'GSync' as the X32 FP is NOT LISTED on that Nvidia list, only the X32 is. 6) At some point they will probably release an X32FP with GSync Ultimate hardware when it is able to support HDMI 2.1. Then the cost of that monitor will be the highest compared to the X32/X32FP as it will be the best of both. In summary: - If you want use the monitor only for PC gaming with a recent nVidia card and the benefits of GSync Ultimate rather than vanilla GSync then wait for the X32 - If you have an AMD GPU, or a recent nVidia GPU that you are content constraining to vanilla GSync rather than GSync Ultimate, then get the X32FP - If you want to use it with a Playstation 5 and PC then get the X32FP I am in Taipei and have just ordered two X32 FP for use with my RTX 3090 and a Playstation 5. I expect them to work well together with vanilla GSync but with the caveat that I won't be able to use GSync Ultimate.

LEDs and dimming zones are two completely different things. The 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro has 10,000 Mini LEDs grouped into an ABYSMAL 2,596 local dimming zones. This monitor has a weak zone count but that doesn't mean it's not using Mini LED.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M I like the new Apple screens. But 576 dimming zones on this Acer screen are far too little. You can see it on Samsung mini LED TVs. It's horrible.

DO NOT BUY FOR DUAL SCREEN USAGE! 6 months later and Acer finally dropped a BIOS update - after they initially said to me they would have a software update within 2 weeks. Even after this BIOS update my dual F32P screens still have hideous problems. In fact after this BIOS update they are even worse than before - it takes 10 minutes of randomly turning my PC on and off to get lucky and have them work. You want to see how bad? This bad: - ruclips.net/video/7kfoWM7XNtY/видео.html - ruclips.net/video/nIj_Y0EGQmg/видео.html My old dual screens with my PC turn on instantly as my PC boots super fast. This is basic functionality that does not work with the F32P. I should not have to risk damaging my PC by turning it off/on in some strange 10 minute ritual of chance, all because Acer cannot get basic functionality working. This is with the prior and latest nvidia drivers. Win10 64bit. Latest BIOS and driver from Acer for the screens. BIOS updated correctly on the F32P screens as instructed by Acer.
low WQHD res, subpixel layout not supported for text on pc, low max brightness full screen, lack of anti glare filter. We are very far from QD OLED being the solution we all wanted it to be.
Lots of desk space for mediocre vertical size and resolution hogging ultra low screens are garbage. Self emissive pixels would be perfect also for watching videos/movies, but Samsung just had to screw it up and not offer proper modern 3840x2160 resolution. Higher pixel density would have also helped to minimize issues of that completely non-standard RGB subpixel layout.
Did you check the Hardware Unboxed & HDTVtest's review video?? Reflection is really super suck.. With normal bright room, contrast even worst than IPS.. Tim also mentioned that in the video too. Who will want a monitor you can only use under a dim/dark room? For me, that just real garbage. And 1440p with 34inch is suck... Console support is suck too. Real 4K is 2160p, not 1440p. Weird pixel layout with green and purple fringe is even worst.. And want to use monitor for 5 years? Burn-in issue just suck too. I will choose MiniLED any day. Then I will wait for the ultimate display - MicroLED
I will always go with the brighter panel. This Acer peaks at 12-1300 nits apparently. That will be sick HDR. I have OLEDs and IPS HDR gaming monitors. The monitors smash in hdr

The basic issue is that all PC & PS5 games will lose color depth and brightness after HDR on, only Kodi in Windows can play HDR video correctly at the 1st playing. RUclips HDR video is also correct.
I wonder if a force flush of firmware might fix this issue.
Thanks!

Has anyone gotten a straight answer out of Acer as to when this monitor will actually be available and how much it will cost... I feel like they are giving us the Karine Jean-Pierre treatment when asked a simple question.

Samsung mini led come 4k with 240 hz
👏👏👏👏👏🌹🌹
576 zone in 32in is not mini led
LEDs and dimming zones are two completely different things.
The 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro has 10,000 Mini LEDs grouped into an ABYSMAL 2,596 local dimming zones.
This monitor has a weak zone count but that doesn't mean it's not using Mini LED.
@@PSYCHOV3N0M I like the new Apple
screens. But 576 dimming zones on this Acer screen are far too little. You can see it on Samsung mini LED TVs. It's horrible.
@@Fabifablos the PG32UQX had 1152 zones and the worst halo you’ve ever seen. The PG27UQ has 384 zones and way less halo that the 32UQX. The number of zones does not mean this panel will be bad.

This bad:
- ruclips.net/video/7kfoWM7XNtY/видео.html
- ruclips.net/video/nIj_Y0EGQmg/видео.html
My old dual screens with my PC turn on instantly as my PC boots super fast.

Mini LED LCD is garbage.
QD OLED is the current best for gaming.
low WQHD res, subpixel layout not supported for text on pc, low max brightness full screen, lack of anti glare filter.
The monitors smash in hdr
good luck with OLED burn in bud.
