Australia has a knack for keeping truly world class talent locked away performing in shopping centres, busking on sidewalks and performing in pubs. I remember seeing a busker with a voice like a young Neil Finn from Crowded House... busking out the front of a supermarket with five teenage skateboarders for his audience. And they appreciated his talent.

The audience was terrible. They vote for school children who disappear in few months instead of people who could have made something out of themselves. Plus it was Ronans final year of being a judge. He pointed that out so more people voted for his contestantm

Neither of them won and neither ever really caught on. I'll never understand how so much talent and such beautiful voices can be overlooked. All while kids like those in the boy bands became multimillionaires. It is what it is. Nobody can ever take gifts like theirs away. I'd still pay to see either artist to this day.
