Richard Kruspe has some of the Phattest most hooky guitar riffs. Everything about Rammstein kicks ass but Richard brings such thick hooks. I dont understand why we dont hear more about how incredible this band is and has been for two decades. Everything from their sound to their style and image and Jesus, their LIVE shows...come on. There isnt a band that even comes close these days. I live in Florida and have never had them come remotely close during a time that I could make it. I MUST see them LIVE and know that my chance for it is nearing an end. LOVE this band.

Rammstein is actually referred to as neue deutsche Härte (new German hardness) which is similar to industrial metal, but definitely not the same, as it has a distinct flow and is pretty much a mix of metal with German dance/club music. Once you hear other ndh bands like Eisbrecher, megahertz, and so forth, you get the gist of it.
