  • Nordic walking can be a fantastic gait training tool for people with neurological and complex therapy needs. It uses poles to help you engage your upper body and core and increase the intensity of effort. This can be extremely beneficial for people with neurological conditions, such as Parkinson's Disease or Multiple Sclerosis. Nordic Walking is useful for targeting fitness, mobility, arm and trunk strength and balance.
Listen to Gilly Davy and Alison Wighton, from Advance Rehab Centre, talk about the benefits of Nordic walking and how it can help you.

J.P. Fitting you don’t need lessons. You’ll figure it out on your own in about ten minutes or less.
