Hey there! For anyone coming to the comments to voice concern about my choice of snacks I appreciate you. I had a fridge full of healthy snacks at the time so I didn't need to purchase any fruit or vegetables at the store except the lettuce I was out of.
I wanted to try the lentil chips because I'm an adult who can decide to try a snack if I want to and I only allowed myself to have a pack of them if I walked 3 miles or more. I didn't end up liking them and decided not to waste my calories on them.
This is NOT a what I eat in a day video it's a haul of the things I purchased at two stores.

Shop at farm shops, fresh vegetables, locally grown. Very healthy. Leave ready frozen meals alone. Junk food is so bad.
An occasional treat of course is essential.
Cook from scratch, no additives. You will feel the benefit.
Also a child could do with a little walking!
Hi Kayla, well done on your weight loss success. I know it's a big undertaking and I had bariatric surgery myself some years ago. It is life changing, both in terms of weight loss but also in the quantities of food you are even able to consume. But you still have to stick with the program, as I know to my cost that snacking of the wrong kind can make you regain some weight. It was interesting to see an American perspective on what's available in our supermarkets. 'Pigs in blankets' refers to a side dish often eaten here in UK at Christmas, in which small pork cocktail sausages (the pigs), are wrapped around with bacon (the blanket) and baked in the oven. Whether those chips really taste like they do, I seriously wonder..... 🤣I remembered when you passed the white telephone kiosk that these are (or were) exclusive to Hull, as back in time it had the only phone company which was independent of our one time monopoly National Telephone Company. Although that's all history now, Hull still has its own telephone exchange.
Thank you for your comment. My weight loss is a daily focus. I work on it, and I'm mindful of it every day. I'm also so thankful for the benefits that came with having the surgery and I'm thankful to have my life back!
I didn't care for the pigs in a blanket lentil chips 🤪 and in general I haven't had many lentil chips. I do have them with salsa when we do tacos because I think it's a better option. I also leave them for last after I've had my protein and veggies.
Yes I love the white phone booths in Hull they are so cool, and I love the history of them as well!
Pigs in blankets are pork sausages (pigs) wrapped in bacon (the blanket).

I know this is going to sound stupid, but if I am on holiday and need to do grocery shopping, I just take one of my wheelie suitcases to the supermarket and fill that with the stuff I need.
doesn't sound stupid at all, we're just here for six months!
I have shopped in aldi in Spain too found their fresh produce fantastic and asda is just like Walmart

I noticed that you got no fresh fruit or veg. Everything was pre packaged.
I would recommend "snacking" on fruit and vegetables. I find that trying to find snacks similar to chips and chocolate and such makes me want to eat more
Thank you for your concern. I do snack on fruits and vegetables. I just didn't need any at ASDA and Aldi because my fridge was already full of them.

no. Alot of people I know won't eat mayo and I def won't eat the mayo in the uk it does not taste like the mayo back home

No offence....but most of that food is of the trashy processed kind. Maybe less trashy or tasty than the states but still a bit trashy.
Those granola bars arent healthy , the proteins are probably whey based.
Where are the tinned oily fish, the olive oils , the eggs , avicadoes , nut assortments , pulses etc?or vegetables...didnt see any vegetables at all...did see the fruit juices but they are full of natural fruit sugars which tho healthier than plain out sugar , still no good for you.
I wasn't going there for produce I had an entire fridge of produce at our place.
Your shopping is junk food, not good on a diet. Chicken nuggets?oh no! Pretty awful food all round.
Where's your fresh fruit and veg ? I prefer to cook from fresh.
