Here in this lecture, this rimpoche says the whole time talks about God or hell, heaven. Isn't this contradictory?
@@bookwormssociety4501 If he has declared such things, then that makes him a fraud, or a lier or a psychotic because this is something against Buddhist scriptures, it's known tradition, even the texts taught by Maitreya himself to Asanga. For something to be valid, we need evidence - we can't just believe in the fabricated stories. Since Osho taught something against what Maitreya himself taught - those texts are extant for anyone to verify - it is impossible. It is like a Muslim saying " Lord Krishna came to my body and hence I am teaching Kuran'! Does that sound like plausible and convincing? Of course not! And furthermore, let's hear how you are going to argue - I am all ears! Where did the Buddha say such absurd things? This was all fabricated by Osho himself and other Hindu pundits, hence the argument thst Osho is not a Buddhist, let alone he be someone like Maitreya. I think you are confused by listening Osho's teaching such as "बुद्द्त्व घटेको", which he often uses in his speeches. No, that never happened and will never happen. At most, there are bodhisattvas of 10th level like Avalokitesvara, Manjushree but they haven't still attained the Buddhahood. Others attained arhathood, which is way below a complete Buddhahood.

We agree with you - yes, Osho was not the follower of the Buddha, he never learned and trained himself under any Buddhist master and HENCE, he DIDN"T understand Buddhism properly. Therefore, the claim of Swami Arun that Osho was Maitreya Buddha was false, and he shouldn't do that. Here is the video where he claims Osho being Maitreya. @@bibeksharma270 Yes, Osho himself have declared in his lectures that maitreya buddha came in his body, and if you believe in esoteric science, it is not impossible. Like there are many points in this video that I can argue and go on arguing such as Buddha teaching I heard was 'there is no god, no hell or heaven, don't ever worship statue...and many more.' Here in this lecture, this rimpoche says the whole time talks about God or hell, heaven. Isn't this contradictory?
@@bookwormssociety4501 If he has declared such things, then that makes him a fraud, or a lier or a psychotic because this is something against Buddhist scriptures, it's known tradition, even the texts taught by Maitreya himself to Asanga. For something to be valid, we need evidence - we can't just believe in the fabricated stories. Since Osho taught something against what Maitreya himself taught - those texts are extant for anyone to verify - it is impossible. It is like a Muslim saying " Lord Krishna came to my body and hence I am teaching Kuran'! Does that sound like plausible and convincing? Of course not! And furthermore, let's hear how you are going to argue - I am all ears! Where did the Buddha say such absurd things? This was all fabricated by Osho himself and other Hindu pundits, hence the argument thst Osho is not a Buddhist, let alone he be someone like Maitreya. And the Guru above in his video has given so many evidences from Buddhist scriptures about Maitreya. Are we going to discard all those taught by the Buddha or Maitreya himself and listen to Osho's Harry Potter? Common! Please reflect a bit yourself!

I think you are confused by listening Osho's teaching such as "बुद्द्त्व घटेको", which he often uses in his speeches. No, that never happened and will never happen. At most, there are bodhisattvas of 10th level like Avalokitesvara, Manjushree but they haven't still attained the Buddhahood. Others attained arhathood, which is way below a complete Buddhahood.

In Theravada Ajahn Mun Bhurida of the past century, Ajhan Chah, Dipa Ma of this century have been said to have been Arhats. Tibetan masters of our times such as Chatral Rinpoche, Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, Dudjom Rinpoches were acclaimed siddhas.
These are just few names. But the more important point is that the methods and teachings are still here and alive and any one of us can take the journey and reach there!
