First racket I play with ,I pick it up at a garage sale . I still use it today. But videos like this are very helpful. Also look into arm friendly rackets, those will keep you for getting tennis elbow.
One thing you didn’t address is having racquets in multiple locations. So I keep two in my club’s locker. And I keep two at home for travel practice and matches. Thus I need four racquets. Male, 4.0 flat hitter.
Thank you for pointing that out! Many people I have met in person say that even if they have racquets in multiple places they only have two in total so it slipped my mind
If the back up rackets have not been used and just sat in the bag for quite some time, let’s say 6 months, would the strings on them still keep ‘playable’?
Just to be safe I would still get it restrung because the polyester has most likely still lost some of its tension and life. Even if they haven't been played with, having them sit for 6 months is going to make them more likely to cause tennis elbow or other problems from my experience

That’s really cool! What racquet was it?
I normally have 3 rackets but I got 2 more when the rackets was on sale. The racket types was 2023 babolat pure aero.
I’ve never been one to turn down a good deal either
I have 5 rackets because the tennis shop was going on sale and I got 2 for under 500 dollars.
That sounds like a great deal for the Aero’s!
