I think it's stupid that everyone gets mad at Mario for "always" sacrificing Yoshi in Super Mario World, and yet if you've actually PLAYED the game, he only sacrificed Yoshi ONCE. On the Cheese Bridge level, and it wasn't even REQUIRED to find the secret exit there!

I like to think that whenever yoshi "dies" he gets revived in the next egg you find just like in mario galaxy 2 I guess (idk ive never played it) which makes me feel a whole lot better for losing yoshi when taking damage
And without Mario there would have been no Yoshi to begin with, with Shigeru Miyamoto's excuse that he always wanted Mario to have a companion to accompany him on his adventures, which gave rise to Yoshi's existence.
