I love it when law enforcement agents complain about other agents pulling them over for a valid reason. Even if you're a supervisor, sheriff, cadet, anything, you can still be pulled over. We do not park in front of the vehicles in traffic stops though.

in real life, even if you have an undercover police car or being undercover police, you will still be charged because of that, just that in ER:LC, neither the police nor the civilian can drive properly, let alone the idea of following driving codes (like not speeding and running red light).

i recently got a bus and ive been following the rules of the road (a proper bus not the shuttle bus)
Some people don't realize if there aren't any signs against it, any incoming traffic, and not in a wide turn vehicle, you can turn right on red.
If they have the priority they can go past red lights and speed as much as they want

Actually certain departments it doesn’t matter if backup shows up or not they can bystand or ask the officer on the traffic stop if they need help

@@cheese4274 They usually have a reason. In my case they never do because I responsibly drive. They always make something up, like, saying you ran a red when you have the right of way. Or you not using a signal. Even though you're on their 6. Or, you go a straight 50 in a 50 zone and they say you're speeding. Sometimes it's even making up reports to just have a reason to initiate a 10-11

best way to troll PD as a civillian and to rat out the gun abusers:
1. Buy ANY gun from the gun store and DO NOT EVER use it
2. drive around till a cop pulls you over, always comply with them
3. Wait till one of them randomly asks for you to step out
4. ask for a reason to exit and DO NOT step out
5. let them quick-draw their gun and shoot your vehicle, they will be wanted if they damage your vehicle assuming you ARE NOT wanted
Actually they will not. The game makes it easy for cops to shoot you multiple times before becoming wanted. I saw a cop empty 3 mags into an innocent and not become wanted for it. 🫤

I can support this fact, i have been pulled over 15 times in my history of playing this game as an undercover cop and it never gets old seeing their reaction when i turn on the lights.

Actually got pulled over in a ladder engine the other day for speeding, then after the dude let me go he pulled up on the house fire and tried to get one of the firefighters arrested for "breaking and entering."
The last part is stupid but anyone can get pulled over, a cop serves and protects from anyone and anything. So yea you we're speeding and got pulled over, also where do you live that it's called a Ladder Engine, that's really interesting knowing that in most places it's Aerial or Ladder/Truck

Well just because you're a cop doesn't mean you can speed and run red lights.
In these situations I would normally turn my lights on to show them, and if they just say opps sorry and drive off I'll pull them over as they never told me why they pulled me over.
you are still able to be pulled over by other cops. you dont have a free pass to not follow the law.

I pulled over a cop once, (they didn’t have a under cover car, but they were running into things, and ran a lot of reps lights, and sped, but when they stopped and I got out to talk to them they chatted- “I’m the tightest rank, you can’t pull me over. I said it was complétalo fine to pull over another cop, then they said, a girl driving a bronco, (I had the jeep police car) and then they drove away. I was quite mad.

Iegally even if your a cop, if you break a law you can still get a ticket/warning. Be aware this only applies when you don't have your lights on.
Also if a cop has no real reason for u to step out your car or search it they can't. They'd need a warrant.
No they don’t, if they were to request a K-9 unit for example and a dog shows signs of drugs in the car or something then the car is subject to search under reasonable suspicion.

Yea, but of the police department brings out a k-9 unit out for no real reason, and that k-9 unit is takeing to long. You can say "Am I free to go?" And most of the time they let you go, if not then you say "I invoke the fith, and I want my lawyer"

I play as undercover quite a lot and tend to get pulled over for.... Nothing. The cop comes over then just doesn't speak because they realise I didn't actually do anything. Sometimes it's because they crashed into me, or because I was following a criminal and they just want to know who I am/think I'm wanted. Sometimes it's because I was just near a crime and they think maybe I'm the criminal (I don't team, so I'm not). Sometimes it's just being on the highway and going highway speeds. I've even been pulled over for going the speed limit, because the cop didn't see the sign indicating the change in speed limit on the road.

i get it, its annoying, and i dont have the detective gamepass so i wouldnt know, and i know youre trying to stay undercover until you catch up with a criminal but you gotta use your lights or do something to allert police officers that youre undercover like for example alert every unit in police chat that your car is a crimson bullhorn prancer and is undercover or something, because from my experience not doing stuff like that gets you pulled over by non-undercover police and in the end, its half your fault. even if youre undercover not using your lights and breaking laws is actually a crime and thats why i hate that police officers, especially undercover ones cant get punished or SOMETHING for doing it. and also, if a police officer pulled you over and youre undercover, you shouldnt try to: run, hide yourself (by not blinking your lights for a split second), and lying (aka its wasting a police officer's time). be honest, accept the verbal warning, then go on with your day. not like laws dont apply to undercover police.

If your a law enforcement officer and you get pulled over in your work vehicle you still have to obey the officers.
for some reason the new officers literally pull you over even if you're not breaking the traffic rules or not, you can encounter this as a civilian and an undercover cop, and also they don't even pay attention to the car's full appearance (especially when the undercover cop has a pushbar)
