You are just the best soul ever! Best Toyota coaster conversion Chanel hands down on RUclips! Thank you for being so thorough and showing us all step by step! I know this must take so much extra time to do and actually delay your progress. Hope you heal quickly from your tendinitis. I am sending infinite healing to you earth angel… so much gratitude 🙏🏼 💫
Tendonitis is no joke.. I ignored my right elbow tendonitis for 6 months and ended up being pretty much unable to do anything with that arm for months. Sounds like you've seen the doc and are looking after it so all the best for a speedy recovery!
Rather than window tint consider the stuff sign writers use to sign over vehicles windows. Unsure what its called, sticky vinyl with lots of little holes. If you choose a light colour people cannot see in but you can see out. Thanks for the posts, I'm a few months behind you with my conversion.
i used to wear a semi circle hard plastic strap secured with velcro just below my elbow to help with the tennis/golfers elbow that i used to suffer from. Happy to show it to you if you like. It helps hold the tendons in place when you are flexing your arm.
@@AGirlADogandABus My RSI/Tendinitis naturally went away after a while. Good luck with it. rest is the cure but how do you rest an arm totally? Very difficult.
@@jansaari1047 I should have properly rested it months ago but I was stubborn and wanted to get to work on my bus. I hope I haven't left it too late now.
@@jansaari1047 I also had this in same spot in my arm and it was awful. Wore the strap and it healed eventually. Really painful hey and totally sux cause you are so limited to using it whilst you heal.
Did you get the windows tinted while the glass was out? Or will you be taking it to a tinter once they're all back in and you've checked its water tight?
I'll be getting the windows tinted after they are back in. Only because the guy who will be doing the tinting is also going to be doing some rust repair around my windscreen and also fixing an issue I have with the driver's door, so I need to be able to drive the bus into town to get all that done. I checked with him and he said no difference to him if the windows are out or not. Also, if I had the glass tinted while out, there was a chance (pretty good chance for me LOL!) that I would scratch the tint when putting it back into the frame and I didn't want to risk that.
Hi! Great video! So much work! Do you know other place than coasterparts for the window seals? They are out of stock and don’t know when they’re getting new stock. Greetings from Argentina!
Hi Sebastian, there is another place that sells coaster parts here in Australia. It is called Mr Coaster. (www.mrcoaster.com.au) They are also on Facebook. A lot of coaster owners have bought things from them and seem happy with the service but I have not personally used them as they were more expensive than Coaster Parts for the things I needed. You could also try contacting Toyota directly. Good luck.
how did your seals go? i am putting mine into the frames today and they are all wrong ones in the bags from coaster parts. they are all big and droopy and the holes are missing for the locks. were yours all ok??
Mine were all fine. Did you order a seal for each specific window? They are not all the same so you have to make sure you are putting the right seal on the right window. Also, did you order the Toyota ones? Some people use generic seals but then you have to cut all the holes yourself

Good job. Rest up your elbow and let it heal. I’m sure we’ll all will wait to see you back fit. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the info. I’ll check it up. I’ve already contacted Toyota directly. Thank you 🙏
Heey, is it possible to replace the seals without taking the window frames out??
No I don't think so
Hey I am just about to do this job & am wondering if you have a link to where you bought your genuine rubber kit? Love the detailed videos :)
Hi Tyza, I got the rubbers from Coaster Parts in NSW. www.coasterparts.com.au
@@AGirlADogandABus thank you very much I will call them today :)

The window frames are powder coated which is 100% polyester. You can rejuvenate it with car polish.
Thanks that's good to know
