I love all three versions of this sketch. I have to start taking the time to match the colours of my paper to my photos. Thank you for sharing your creative process.

Like you I like my papers to compliment my photos not compete. I follow a few scrappers that have gone the other way, that they do the backgrounds then grab photos. I just can’t… as always you show in these examples that it’s not ‘matchy matchy’ as it’s accused of, it allows the photos to shine. I’m part of the class you’re doing and it’s great if anyone is unsure… but am thrilled that you are still doing the sketch support 😍😍love it x

Thank you so very much for the class praises! I’m really enjoying it myself. I will forever love seeing what we all do with one sketch. And, I totally agree with your statements about papers and allowing the photos to shine. 😊

I loved this sketch and made a basketball page I love way more than I anticipated when I started playing with this sketch. I had a hard time placing the circles onto the page and would love to hear tips to make that easier and less stressful for this nervous scrapper🤣🤣🤣

I'm so happy you enjoyed the sketch!! My go-to for helping me arranging anything is I always lay everything out before I adhere anything down. I want to make sure that everything is placed right where I want and that I'm happy with how it looks before I commit to anything with glue. That always makes it a little easier to arrange and adhere! I hope that helps some!

This sketch was fun and made a beautiful page but it took me forever to figure out where to lay everything. Any tips for that?

this is stunning! how do you stitch in a circle?? i can't even stitch in a straight line so never dare to stitch on my layouts even though i really want to !!

Thank you!! I totally get the struggle with stitched circles! Circles are one of the hardest shapes to me because if you're off just a bit it really shows. I always use my Silhouette to cut out a circle template to trace around and then I pierce holes on those pencil lines. A circle is the one shape that I never free hand, I never do it well!
