This is actually the very first curly hair routine that I used every single day the entire first year of my curly hair journey and I STILL love it! Every time I do this routine I am blown away by the results!

I just bought all the products! I live in a different country, so here everyrhing is a bit more expensive. I ended up paying about 13€ (15$). I still think it’s a rather good price to pay. So i hope this works on my curls!
Edit: Okay so today i tried it. And after following everything you said to the tiniest word, i’m happy to say: It worked! Yay!

Thank you so much! It all depends on how much product I use to style my hair, but typically it takes 4-6 hours to air dry completely

I would like to improve my curls, which hair cut do you suggest me to get ? Straight cut doesn't work very well to get beautiful curls, the weight of my hair is too much for the curls
Hi, beautiful routine and results...what should be done on Day 2 and 3 after washing? Like combing or styling?
Ok, I watched again to make sure that I have the routine down... So you plop your hair for 15 minutes and then you clip it and let it air dry... And then when it's 90% dry, you difuse the rest of the way? How long does it take for it to air dry? Mine takes a very long time to air dry. I think I saw that somewhere you said it takes you several hours as well... Is there another way I can do it? Like try to diffuse the cast in place?

What haircut do you have? I'm trying to keep my hair long while going back to my natural curls. Previously long hair has ended up with stringy ends on the longest layer

when i flip my hair over to scrunch it while upside down, it just immediately gets soooo tangled. i think it’s because my hair is reallyyyyyy thick and heavy. do you have any tips for this?
I suggest brushing your hair when you flip your head upside down before you start styling. This should help a lot with the tangling ☺️

What is your hair porosity? Does hair porosity matter if we use these products? Also I want to use a gentle shampoo and conditioner, because I'm facing hair loss. Is there any good product recommendations for a lesser priced products? Please let me know :)
I have low porosity hair. I don't think hair porosity really matters here. I have used these products since the beginning of my curly hair journey when my hair was very high porosity and my hair loves it just as much now as it did then 😊 also, I'm so sorry to hear about your hair loss! I really love the Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo and conditioner by Giovanni.

Yes I do! I shampoo with Giovanni Tea Tree shampoo and condition with Giovanni smooth as silk conditioner. My shine comes from the tea tree shampoo 🙂

It didn't look like you got any product on the back of your head near your neck when you had your head upside down. Do you purposely avoid that area? Mine usually gets very tangled if I don't put product there
Nope I don't. All of the products end up being evenly distributed all over. I may have just neglected that area on the day that I recorded this video on accident. I didn't mean to ☺️
Do you wrap up your hair at night? My hair is always CRAZY when I wake up in the morning and if I use a loose hair tie it gets kinks still

My hair doesn't like oils. It weighs my curls down and makes them lifeless. You do have beautiful hair.
Use less oil or you are using the wrong type of oil
Thanks to you, I can get that look. But what if I have to be somewhere at 8am? What do we do in a time crunch?
I'm so glad! I would recommend washing and styling in the afternoon/evening then making sure your hair is 100% dry before you go to sleep, but wait until the morning to scrunch out the crunch (if you have one) until the morning. To keep your curls protected overnight recommend using a silk pillowcase and either a bonnet, silk scarf, or just a pineapple. ( I have a video on all the different ways to protect your curls at night over on my channel ☺️). Doing all this will keep your curls looking great in the morning! Hope this helps!

what shampoo and conditioner do you use? ever air dry?
My current favorite shampoo and conditioner are the Giovanni Tea Tree shampoo and the Giovanni Smooth as Silk conditioner. I air dry most of the time 😊
Do this leave in conditioners, gels, hair creams trigger acne? Im scared because im very acne prone in both my face and body but my hair is also very wavy and dry and nothing seems to work.
I use cantu leave in and I have to mix with water, because it it to heavy for me. For people with waves, it is to heavy
@Trinity M Yes I know, but it does not state that we can not use it! The leave spray is to light for me, my hair likes stronger stuff.
It shouldn't as long as it's not wet while touching your face. Also using a tshirt, bathrobe to product your back and arms from body acne while putting products in. I usually just jump back in the shower for 30 seconds or so after to rinse off product.
I also have acne prone skin and haven't had any trouble with these. I do have a few tricks though to avoid products causing breakouts. After I get out of the shower to plop my hair in the t-shirt/towel, I will hop back into the shower to wash my face really well (I love Cetaphil Daily Cleanser so so much). Then at night I always wear my hair up in a pineapple to keep it off my face and make sure to change my pillowcase often. I hope this helps ☺️
How long does it take for your hair to get to 90% dry? I have extremely porous hair and it just holds water like crazy so I don’t know how long to let it sit so wet.
It depends on how much product I have applied to my hair. If I have used lightweight products or did not apply much product, my hair will dry to 90% in roughly an hour or 2. I'd I have applied heavier products (like on this video) my hair usually takes 3-4 hours to dry to 90%.

I can’t get the cantu cream to work for me :( It messes with my color making the red look dull and faded. It makes my curls defined and soft but it kills any shine.

I have course, medium density, low porosity hair 😊
I have coarse hair also but thick and low to normal porosity. Majority of my hairstrands are moderately coarse but I do have a little fine and medium texture.

I do not have naturally straight hair, so I do not know if it would work for your hair, but you could give it a try.

This usually lasts me 3-5 days. Unfortunately this gel doesn't so very well in summer humidity, so in the summers I like to use Aussie Instant Freeze Gel 😊

But how is your hair not getting greasy from all that product :/ my hair is 2a recently discovered. Thought I had straight frizzy gair. I put any product and my hair is overloaded and greasy
My hair personally does well with this amount of product. It definitely isn't for every hair type. If your hair is easily weighed down, I would recommend trying a lightweight mousse ☺️

my hair are curly when its wet but as it dries it gets straighten up what should I do?
Hi, I would take a lot of gel scrunching it in your hair and dry it then by using a Diffusor, not the hottest but medium heat. 5 minutes hold without moving for each part of it, until it's really almost dry. At the end use cool air. Wait by air dry until it's completely dry (important!) and then scrunch it with your hands - using a little bit of hair oil in your palms. I do it this way, it looks amazing. How does your hair look natural ?
To say "no frizz" is incorrect. All curly girls have frizz.
Of course all curly hair experiences healthy frizz, but this product itself will not cause unhealthy frizz due to lack of moisture/high humectants in product/ etc. That is what the packaging means, and that's what I meant when I said "no frizz". I hope that clarifies what I meant. ☺️
