Hey! Loved this...TFS! I decided to start my microlocs journey last October because it was time for my hair to have peace/hair freedom. I've had relaxed hair, short hair, colored hair, braids, twists, etc and was a loose natural for several years and was so over it 😀. I knew I wanted to stay natural but wanted ease, versatility, and freedom and microlocs gives me that. Your #4 reason.... I get it and it's true until we're our authentic self we aren't going to attract authenticity. When I decided to start my loc journey I briefly spoke about it to my fiancé but had already made up my mind 😄 and his response was.... "as long as you stay natural I support" and in that he once again confirmed his appreciation for my true self.
Girl preach...I love how you broke down your reasons you Locd your hair. I’m noticing we all have many of these same concerns in common. The fact that we have a hairstyle that shows favor to our textures kinks and coils is too cool for me. And your fiancé already knew that he had a get with you (locs or no locs lol) that’s love right there!🥰🥰🙌🏽
You are singing my song! My experiences exactly the same. Gave up on hair salons in my mid twenties. I'm 55 years old now. I joined the loc family on October 10 2021. Thanks so much for sharing your story!
@@LaZy3LocD Totally Loving It! I do have one MAY-JORE problem... hands in the hair syndrome. I love my hair so much I can't keep my hands out of the locs. I'm always touching and stroking them. I know! Not a good thing... but I cannot help myself! 🤩 When you are in love, you just can't keep your hands off!😝 Happy New Year!!
I love your spirit and transparency. That's why you met your mate because of your honesty definitely not because of your hair lol. Your gorgeous. You just made my day. I can deffinitely relate to your reasons for locking your hair. Stay Blessed 🙏🏾
Hi Hazel! 👋🏽..I sure can. I actually have MANY pics for you all...I have a sisterlocks hair journey video coming up really soon so keep watching hun ☺️💕
love your vids as always. consider putting a temporary black dye in your hair for a healthier look. Your locs are beautiful, but looks like it needs a little somethin somethin to give it that moisturized healthy look. Any updates on retying locs with krazy glue?
Hey Cecily, you know I was thinking this the other day...I think is the heat playing a factor. Any temp dyes you use? And yep got a krazy glue loc update coming up for you all 🤗☑️
@@LaZy3LocD This is the one I use when I do it: Clairol Professional Beautiful Collection, Semi-Perm Hair Color It has always made my hair feel even softer than when I don't use dye at all. It's definitely temporary (for some it washes out too soon), but it's soo easy to reapply when you want it again that I don't mind that. My hair is dark brown and I use the black one. (I only use it occasionally when my hair is looking a little dull or I want to more contrast with my skin.) I order it on Amazon.
Gentlemann! Hey👋🏽...I’m doing well thanks for asking, hope you been good yourself. and you know since we were on that last live I haven’t done another one. I’m looking to do another soon enough though...it was fun☺️
Yes I'm on the brink of cut or loc in sistalocs. I have what people call good hair but it's hard to style for me and I'm anemic now which my hair is thinning. To top that off, the grays are getting real. Thanks for the video
Hey hun, yea I know the feeling...is like hitting a wall with your hair and just feeling like “I’m kind of over it”. And I also struggled with anemia and it definelty did NOT my help my hair situation as my hair was weak, I still see the residual effects on my locs now looking back. but trust me sisterlock microlocs will thicken your hair out so much you won’t believe. Whatever you decide I know you will do what best for you. Thanks for watching! 🤗💕💕

Guuuuurl I’m lazy when it comes to hair too. I have 7 daughters and I got burned out on combing hair.
7 daughters! My goodness lol you have your hands FULL and I’m sure full of hair! Haha-so beautiful 💕Do any of your daughters have locs?
