I mean, that is in no way on Peter.
But it is very Spiderman to still carry that weight and burden. He won't be able to save everyone. But it does not mean he will stop trying. That is the hard part. He won't save everyone. But he can save at least someone.
You gotta kinda hope that knowing that, is enough for him to keep going.
Reminds me of how a pediatric oncologist describe what they do and how they can keep doing it. They will not save every single child with cancer. But they will be able to save some. That is why they have to do it. Because those some, must be saved, even if they dont know who they are. So they will try and save everyone, even though they know they can't.

A common theme in Spider-Man stories is that after making so many sacrifices to his personal life, his finances, and his love life to save the city and its people Spidey always ends up getting the short end of the stick. He never gets the praise he wants, or the girl he desires, and that to me is the tragedy of Spider-Man. To me Ive always viewed Peter as selfish, but SPIDER-MAN is that selflessness, that altruism he becomes for the city

In my eyes, it's because the writers of these amazing stories understand the character. They think from a "What would Spider-Man do" perspective instead of "What do we want Spider-Man to do." The reason people love heroes like Spider-Man and Superman is because at their core, they're people. Not gods who view themselves above humanity, but people who grew and learned amongst normal people, and they just want to protect their home and their people.

Guarantee that story probably wasn't in Amazing Spider-Man. Ever since OMD, Spuder-Man hasn't been a consistent and properly represented character in anything other than his ancillary and alternate unicerse books because Marvel editorial, executives, or whoever have this neurotically tight micromanagement on ASM, even if what they want isn't in the best interest of the character and his ongoing story.

It’s better to try than to cut your losses. Even failing can give you the best lessons which you might need. I can't remember the quote exactly but it was from when they ran the first issue without the comics code authority stamp of approval. It was for the comic where Peter needs to talk down a very high dude from the edge of a building cuz he thinks he can fly. Stan was saying that if they can't use stories about superheroes to help people with real world problems, then the heroes r alrdy failing at their 1 job. This story is extra sad in a meta way as Peter needed to fail to help that kid in order to help the readers learn to accept their grief n know that even the most mindful n well intentioned people can hurt people n we need to learn to forgive ourselves before we become a victim of our own grief.

Other heroes also understand that. Even flash has pointed that out. It hits harder because of who Peter is compared to others. Superman peace on earth also showed this but in a much bigger way.

Put them together along with their meanings and you might actually get the idea of what it means to be a person living their life as themselves.

Shortly after this, the guys go on to try and ditch town, going to a warehouse to try and form a plan of escape or theft then Spider-Man, with no dialouge, comes flying in from a window with the moon and the next panel the two are screaming in fear and the next theyre strung up unconscious and Peter goes from standing angrily to crying with his mask off.

I know of their channel! The only thing i can ask is if you see something so blatant, call them out. Channels like theirs are the reason why I got hit with demonetization. We are all lovers of comics, and we can all have our own point of views when we read the same books, but their content recently is just going to my page, looking at my old videos and redoing them.

Spider-Man is the one hero that constantly suffers the most yes even more than Batman, which says a lot.
I don’t see any timeline where Spider-Man has a happy ending, especially since so many story. Writers are hell-bent on putting him through the wringer of suffering and despair, and making his story increasingly more dark.
Interesting how how his story has evolved to this point.
It seems like in Spider-Man‘s world every ounce of kindness, compassion and happiness is punished in a list of horrific ways. Spider-Man isn’t flawless and definitely isn’t some Superman so the fact that he continues to wake up every day and try his best and not become the monster the world tries to force him to be is remarkable.
