If you block without the ball coming towards you there will guaranteed be a cooldown. Theres only no cooldown if you’re blocking when the ball IS coming TOWARDS YOU. :)
As a mobile player, here’s a tip. When clashing you should butterfly click by tapping once with your index finger then once with your middle finger then repeat really fast. Also don’t tap the block button, just tap the screen trust me it’s easier because it leaves more space to click

Intercept the ball when the enemy hits it to see if he will do a curve technique or not, then from there you can assess the ball speed and curve in your own perfectly. *TIP :* Only curve when there are 1-2 players remaining.
