The Dangers of Comparison and Competition | February 6, 2022 Sermon
In our text this morning, the twelve disciples saw a man, who didn't belong to their fellowship, driving out demons in Jesus' name and tried to stop him. John tells Jesus about this and He responds by telling them not to stop him for the one who is not against you is for you. When we compare ourselves to others and start competing against them, envy, jealousy, and pride grow from that leading to the separation of people rather than uniting them in Christ. We're going to study the dangers of comparison and competition as it relates to the life of a disciple and the Church!
