      I’m a swimmer. Technically they do not they do all swim strokes, styles etc. there are 50m races and it would be unfair and unnecessary, they would need a bulkhead to put in the middle of then pool. (If it was a 100m pool). Whereas, if you have a 50m pool all distances can do it (25m is not a distance in meets or championships).

    Wow! My friend just sent me this link! This is what we did back in Ukraine in Odessa in late 70s. Monofin was a rarity, but we used our own designed flippers, glued from rubber flippers "Dolfin" and carved textolite copper plates used in electronics. Oh, those days! Great memories! But what these girls are doing now is superb!

    Every time a swimmer went in, they were about 3 seconds ahead of WR and every time they finished it was 0.2 seconds. Also that WR line seemed waaaayyyyyyy off?!?!

    • @psoteriou3884
      @psoteriou3884 4 года назад +12

      That world record line currently holds the world record. Unfair advantage tho, as doesn't have to breathe.

    • @Meksgehere
      @Meksgehere 3 года назад +1

      Finswimmer here: the WR line here is not computed the same as in classical swimming where your last lap etc is not as fast as the other. But here they don't take that into account which sets this off a bit. Was confused too at first :)

    • @mbs6585
      @mbs6585 2 года назад +2

      The reason they are ahead is because as they first go in their first lap is going to be faster than their others. The world record line is an average speed of the world record.

      @@AlbaderBohamad No offence, but your doing dolphin kicks wrong. You should try kicking on your back, and instead of trying to pull your legs with your back, focus on doing something similar to a ab crunch, and really force your legs up. Once you get the upkick, focus on the down kick, don't use your back, just your hamstrings to pull your legs.

В чем это развивает цивилизацию? Это деградация. Это как изобрести реактивный самолёт, но ездить в отпуск на лошадях или на воздушной шаре
