@VIFE Gaming it's always been that way between lck and lpl though. That's just how both regions are as a culture. I remember IWD talking about the Chinese super team getting beat by azubu flame years ago, and it was an even worse reaction than this was. These are two regions who're immensely passionate about the game, the stories, the players, etc. Sportsmanship is great to see, but the immense void of it in these situations? The silence is deafening for a reason.

@@rileydinkleman1022 i disagree. i think most of the people calling the series close are pandering to SN because they like them as the scrappy underdogs. in reality, DWG had complete early game macro control and prio in all lanes in every game. the series only looked "close" because DWG let nerves get to them and they made silly mistakes like overextending vs shen and throwing at baron except game 2 which they mostly threw in draft. once they had a series lead and calmed down, they stomped game 4 by playing their standard style and never relinquished their massive lead like they did in game 1 and 3. but i do think with better coaching and more experience, SN could shake things up at next worlds if they stick with mostly the same roster.
@@bridgetonowhere the meta has changed. As one of the casters mentioned, teams are picking meta picks just because they're meta even if its anti synergy for the rest of the team. FPX showed up last year with lack luster macro but their team synergy was insane and it managed to grab them the win. I like how LOL is becoming more of a mental game rather than who can pick graves first.

SN did have great team synergy but if you're arguing that it was better than DWG, i completely disagree. DWG synergy is insane if you watch their teamfighting. they also work seamlessly in concert with each other to control the entire map. strong meta picks and lane prio will only get you so far. SN beat TES at 3rd/4th dragons because TES botched those teamfights. DWG won nearly every teamfight minus their egregious baron throw and a few skirmishes. DWG has no great area of weakness to expose. amazing laners, amazing jungler, amazing synergy, and amazing macro. that's why they were the clear favorites for the tourney.

Akali R1 dealt around 220 damage bringing Nuguri's health from 998 to 778, then Liandries+Elder dragon burn for 35 damage just before ezreal's auto(346 physical + 19 magical damage) lands to bring nuguri down to 376. You can see the liandries+burn deals damage before ezreal auto because u see the 35 true damage pop up before the 346 auto damage pop up. Akali then dies in about 0.5 seconds, therefore not giving enough time to for the next tick of elder burn + 0.5s cast time of elder drake.

I have slowed down the video, it was not akali's second ult, it was the first ult, and the dmg that took kennen below the execute's threshold was ezreal's q and ezreal died right before the q hit hence kennen did not die from the execute damage.
Yup nobody was gonna beat DWG this year. The combination of losing to G2 last year and getting smacked in the mid season cup has pushed this team to greatness. This is what happens when the LCK finally get their head out of their asses and play like the LPL but still retain that LCK control. I’m no LCK fan but after watching how much DWG improved I knew that they were gonna win it all.
This game is so frustrating because SN is trying to play 1-3-1 with Bin and Angel but they don’t have priority in this lanes. Yet they choose to play around those lanes and give up their early game to the point that Ezreal’s safety and scaling don’t mean much against a fed Kennen and Graves.
Yeeeeah. Seems like the game 2 win for SN, with the first penta in Worlds finals, got them feeling a bit too brisk. Drafting loosing lanes against the best team in the world is quit ambitious...

Because they pick scalling champ. Late game is their priority. Dwg pick is good for early game advantage. Jax, nida and akali cant contest syndra graves and kennen on early dragon fight.
You can see it also in game 4. They pick late game champ. Which is no use in early objectives. I dont know why they suddenly picking scalling champ. Maybe because they won it on TES.

after i watch this 3 times i think Bin not building Tri-force is one of the best regret SN is facing. Short burst and extra damage for jax in tri force can burst nuguri in point of nugiri cannot stand to complete his Ss in frontline.

Back in old days, draft phase commentary was very respectable with analysts guessing next picks or atleast recommending a good pick but this one was so lame. A2 my research JAx was picked first because they are on blue side and they know DWG is gonna pick Kennen and Jax irelia and one other top laner is good into him so they had no choice but to pick Jax first just in case DWG bans it. And Sun Bin champ pool is very limited that is another reason they picked Jax first. Like please no offense but less laughing would be nice during draft phase. I mean he's an amazing player I am not disputing that but for him to play a carry roll like jax and roll off of that penta with Fiora...he objectively built the wrong path this game and it showed very hard. If you could measure item statistics like you measure runes at the end of the game you would see it. Triforce gives just way better gains in this particular matchup...it also gives him the movement speed to chase down and fight people which he desperately needed. He auto-piloted his build here...

BC and Triforce are only 700 gold apart which I know can be a large gap in pro play but Sheen alone gives him the stats he needs and with stinger he gets his AS up for a fight. Triforce would have allowed him to carry harder instead of cleaver which basically provides half the usefulness.

You see multiple times where Bin couldn't get range of his counterstrike which Triforce would have helped, it also would have given Jax his stacks so he could reach his attack speed cap faster. That item would have paid dividends on Jax this match. It sucks but pros often auto-pilot and he definitely did just that this game. It also doesn't help that Sofm kind of trolled with his omnistone here lol
Bin was so far behind in the early game that he probably felt pressured to get a cheaper damage item so he could have any impact in the midgame. It's obviously not ideal, but there's some logic to it. Omnistone on Nid is just SOFM showing his lack of competency on Nidalee. He had almost no impact that game, especially compared to other Nidalee performances we've seen this Worlds. Damwon drafted very well leaving Nid up and forcing SOFM to pick it away from Canyon.
@@brianlimmy agreed. He built triforce on his previous jax games. But in this case he looked at the game state and felt pressured to change his item build. If he was on auto pilot he would have just tried to build triforce again. But he was not so he looked at the staye of the game and decided to change his build.

As a person, who did 1.5k+ games on Ezreal and 500+ games on Nidalee, this shit just hurts to watch. Sofm Rengar was amazing, but his Javelin Toss aim is horrible. huanfeng's Ezreal is just bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. I was rooting for him after Gbay99 video, but the way he positions himself on Ezreal and his aim with WQ combo... shit. He is too young. He needs more professional games, because he's not ready mentally.
Dwg doesn't deserve to win after that baron call at 29 minutes. Panicked, tried to force it with out securing vision, then split up once they got contested. Absolutr NA pub level passage of play there.

Triforce still gives Jax like 4 major boosts to his kit that could have allowed him to carry where as cleaver has a ceiling.

I mean he's an amazing player I am not disputing that but for him to play a carry roll like jax and roll off of that penta with Fiora...he objectively built the wrong path this game and it showed very hard. If you could measure item statistics like you measure runes at the end of the game you would see it. Triforce gives just way better gains in this particular matchup...it also gives him the movement speed to chase down and fight people which he desperately needed. He auto-piloted his build here...

BC and Triforce are only 700 gold apart which I know can be a large gap in pro play but Sheen alone gives him the stats he needs and with stinger he gets his AS up for a fight. Triforce would have allowed him to carry harder instead of cleaver which basically provides half the usefulness.

You see multiple times where Bin couldn't get range of his counterstrike which Triforce would have helped, it also would have given Jax his stacks so he could reach his attack speed cap faster. That item would have paid dividends on Jax this match. It sucks but pros often auto-pilot and he definitely did just that this game. It also doesn't help that Sofm kind of trolled with his omnistone here lol
Bin was so far behind in the early game that he probably felt pressured to get a cheaper damage item so he could have any impact in the midgame. It's obviously not ideal, but there's some logic to it. Omnistone on Nid is just SOFM showing his lack of competency on Nidalee. He had almost no impact that game, especially compared to other Nidalee performances we've seen this Worlds. Damwon drafted very well leaving Nid up and forcing SOFM to pick it away from Canyon.
@@brianlimmy agreed. He built triforce on his previous jax games. But in this case he looked at the game state and felt pressured to change his item build. If he was on auto pilot he would have just tried to build triforce again. But he was not so he looked at the staye of the game and decided to change his build.

As a person, who did 1.5k+ games on Ezreal and 500+ games on Nidalee, this shit just hurts to watch. Sofm Rengar was amazing, but his Javelin Toss aim is horrible. huanfeng's Ezreal is just bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. I was rooting for him after Gbay99 video, but the way he positions himself on Ezreal and his aim with WQ combo... shit. He is too young. He needs more professional games, because he's not ready mentally.
