I'm a born-again Christian now so you can catch me enjoying these kind of songs anymore it was good at one time and I'm glad I have something in common with Def Leppard in my path
Def leopard perfect tune amazing civer has to said wow Marc bolan want kuv ut !! Perfect performance nice to hear this meanwhite l just thinking ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😢w0w 😊
back in the 70's, I used to here this song as a young kid on my little orange transistor radio.......yeah, I know transistor..wow what an antiquated relic and I'm showing my age. but the disc jockey said it was a band called t. rex and I always imagined myself playing this really great song. fast forward to 2017....i started to play my bass again after a 20 year hiatus and immediately thought of this great song. this one by def lepperd is really rockin' so I'm practicing with this version. thank you marc bolan and t.rex for such a fantastic song....r.i.p.
shasha-muse he was in a car accident and lost his arm the band supported him and never replaced him. This song is by T Rex Marc Bolan who died in a car crash.
This band is not only insanely successful and bashed about due to it, yet more talented than half of the bands any of the haters worship. What a dichotomy
they did it great. you can tell they are a ‘real’ because they know how to actually play a ‘real’ Rock n Roll classic. I wish all Nashville ‘songwriters in-the-round’ presentations would end the evening with ‘bang a gong’ or ‘stepping stone (not your). anything but ‘the weight’ or ‘I Saw the Light’, at least give those a break for a bit.
The lull at 01:49 just SCREAMS for a bona fide blues solo EVH style, or Gary Moore style, or Billy Gibbons style, not just these few notes. Great band, great number, but TOO true to the original, should have listened to what the blues was saying.

Bang a gong is possibly the best song of all time. This is a great version.

Best cover of this I've heard. They completely know the tune.
Except the lyrics.. but they sound awesome
BANG A GONE SOUNDS GOOD TOO AND I AM GLAD THAT DEF LEPPARD IS DOING A COVER OF BANG A GONE AND IT ROCKS TOO
Marc would be pleased. Love it❣️

So happy to hear Marc Bolan and T.Rex have inspired you. Rock on 👍🎶🎸
the drummer........is he rockin' those drums with one arm? wow, he is awsome.

If you watch him closely in this, you'll see he's playing the snare drum with his foot. He's basically transformed his left leg into a left arm.
Def Leppard is my favorite group
The greatness of def leppard on display, electric or acoustic, they are amazing.
Solid, indeed. Good to hear them acoustic, nice work.
Simply amazing! 🤘🤟

I don't know how he drums with no legs. Amazing

The inspiration for Armageddon It. Nice rarity here.

I used to listen to T-Rex I'm born again now and listen to different music now but I used to try to learn how to play the song
Thank god for Ringo Starr and his Trex. :)
I would have preferred it with a little distortion and a little more emphasis on the G chord like the original T Rex version.
Then go play it yourself you miserable twat.
When is this from? I see it's post-Steve Clark . .
I've been trying to find that out too. Based off the outfits, it has to be the early 90s.
Def Leppard, Get It On (Bang A Gong) Acoustic Night, Secret Gig, Nov 11, 1995 Tokyo
