If you wanna do Indonesia real good i highly recommend starting at Semarang or even Jakarta (make sure to visit Karimunjawa, most beautiful tiny island) and make your way down to Surabaya and from there to Bali. From Bali go to Labuan Bajo (Komodo). Indonesia is so much more than Bali and i love this country so so much, i cannot recommend it enough to anyone that wants to travel to Asia. Have been to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam but something about indonesian people is just amazing.

Christian, back in mid-2018 you posted videos from Tumpak Sewu and Mount Ijen. I saw those vlogs and planned my trip across Java to take part in those adventures- big thanks to you. I also included Jogja in that plan - Prambanan, Borobudur as well as the Jomblang Cave adventure - and shot vlogs in all these areas. Now, 6 years later, seeing this vlog of yours from Jogja took me back to those days- now reliving my memories through your brand new vlog. This feels great. There is Yogyakarta province with Yogyakarta city as capital, then there's Central Java province with Semarang as the capital. Just FYI. you dont want to mislead your viewer.
Geographically... Yogyakarta is part of Central Java, easier for foreigners. Just as foreigner said Borobudur is in Yogyakarta due to its proximity.
If he says central java province, it would be misleading. It just to ease things to say it as a region. just like there are banten and west java provinces in west java region.
Jogja is my grandparents live. the place is delicious, the food is cheap there and the people are friendly ❤

Come to visit dieng Plateau and Karimun jawa island. Highly recomended 👍

Fyi, Merapi is closed since 2018 because the mountain had eruption again, and is active untill now. And the goverment gave status for the mountain ''Waspada level 2 = Alert level 2'' so people can not be climb the mountain..
maybe you can climb the many other mountain in Java, like Semeru.. that's so good also

You should go to the southern beach, just about 1.5 hours drive from jogja. The beaches are stunning, but you can't swim there coz the waves are too strong. And don't forget to try the fried grasshoppers 😁
The sunrise from Punthuk Setumbu hill should be amazing, and the location is different from that chicken building, just a few kilometers from there. I think you missed it 🤔

Central Java is a province that not explored enough by content creators, you can go to the Dieng Plateau, Central Java mountains, Solo City, Semarang city, or Karimunjawa Islands in this province.

I did West Java in 2018 and it was way more expensive than Bali. I'm thinking these prices are in low season, but obviously Bali has exploded since 2018.
West Java is near the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, thats why is more expensive... Central Java n Jogjakarta way more cheaper.. the income per Capita was the lowest in Java..and also known as city of Student...

Bandung is located on west Java and this is the largest population province in Indonesia with 50+ Millions people.
One of the most beautiful nature you should visit in bandung is white crater.

This vids hilarious.. especially with your friend mistaken mount Rinjani for Merapi..there not on the same island..but you should have a jeep tour around merapi or go to the south area there plenty beautiful Beach In gunung kidul area..
at jogja you should go to suara dewandaru it's far but nice! and you should go to pantai tiga warna at malang, it's localy manage there's 7 beach at the area and very cleaan.. bcos every trash count as a fine
