Awesome-some college buddies and I are wanting to take a trip around this time in May. We have fished Alice before and did well but after research for another walleye lake Crooked came up a lot. Might be a tough days paddle but looks like well worth it.
I've done that loop twice now. If you get a chance try out the island camp site on Friday bay. My two PB Pikes were caught off the back of that island. Going back this May to knife lake.
I think you just sold me on my spring route for this year! What lake was your favorite? Any types of bait or lures that seemed to work better? I went last year and caught HUGE smallmouth but I am after the walleye this year.
Thanks for you videos. When was your trip? Buddy and I are starting to plan a trip for next year. We want to fish, camp then canoe. What week of year do you suggest?
I was the guy who dropped the fish! We typically go around Memorial Day. This year we went 5/23 - 5/30. Every month has pros and cons. We like the late May early June.. fishing can be great and bugs aren't typically too bad. Most trips we target Lakers (not this trip) which are typically still shallow then. The BWCA.com message board is a great resource.
The first video on RUclips where I hear Arksey, and it's the BWCA. Perfect!
Awesome video and editing dubs!
Great fishing with you bud!
Great photos and videography!
This is some really good content, keep it coming!
Thanks for the video, man!

Nicely done.
Thanks for the video! Great time reliving BWCA in this Minnesota winter 😂. We’re you just fishing minnows on jigs? Way to go on the fishing!
Pretty much just pitching jigs into shallows with minnows, tried leeches as well but minnows were definitely better. Some slip bobber action too.
@@Ddubz1000 Thanks!

What’s the acoustic song at the beginning of the video?
Thanks for you videos.
