Finally the video I was looking for! Thank you very much for the recs! I also recommend The Timekeeper's Secret by iLana Markarov and The Water Walls (it has romance but the good slow building type, and mainly focuses on the plot which makes these books masterpieces)

People just don't want sex filled romance. Like red rising and the magicians. I'm tired of all the sex filler. It's like People can't write a book anymore without borderline r@pe
While there are definitely people who do want that and might even choose a book on purpose for it, I would not classify it as the same thing as romance
Finding books without romance should not be as hard as it is, friggin exhausting
