Vinyl will always be the best, I started in 1993 playing vinyl, oldskool hardcore back when it was just called hardcore. Nowadays I do use Native Instruments Traktor Scratch Pro but it's because I recorded all my precious vinyl onto my computer at 24bit/96khz and can now dj with my tracks without ruining my precious original vinyl. Plus I create my own scratch samsples too which is cool. But I use Traktor Scratch with timecoded vinyl and i'll never give up that vinyl part of dj'ing, no way. F**k all this CD turntable b*llocks.
I'm 36 now but was never really into the Detroit Style techno back in the early 90's, always prefered the harder european type but is nice to know you still try out your vynils, I got a bunch too that I still clean and listen to.
although i was off my sausage most saturdays as a youth, am sure u didn't look like Arnie "i'll be back " - but per.previous remark, i can't be sure of anything i witnessed back then i suppose ! ! :-D
