Good to show the steps needed, did not show adjustment locations on the boards but the Service Manual (and figure of the back of the bottom plate) tells it.
HI Matt - The head alignment in you videos is always Good - can you show how to adjust the play and head alignment when they are not at a 45 degree angle? Thanks!!
Many thanks! I have some signal-differences on the channels but the problem could lie with the prerecorded tapes themselves. I wish there was an easier method to align the heads so they accord to different tapes. I notice quite alot of hiss on this machine and I wonder if you also have experienced hiss on these TEACs? Someone stated that the preamp could be changed...

Hi Matt, do you do repair work? Could I send in my machine for some simple repairs?
Great video, is it tricky to adjust the output signal on the board? Can it be done with a screwdriver? Wish I had your skills!
Not tricky at all. Yes, use a small screw driver, you'll be an expert in no time.

Is there a way to bias without an oscilloscope?
Yes, you only need a multimeter to calibrate the bias. You will need an oscilloscope for head alignment.
show of ,nothing important,,,
