Just did an unboxing video on my channel of the NA version. It's interesting seeing the differences of the packaging while the content remains the same. Must be a difference of packaging laws such as weight regulations.
Agreed I ordered directly from nintendo in NA there was some minor differences from what i've seen in a lot of videos mostly the box holding the game cases and tarot card. Edit* Also the art book and poster was just below the box and not in a secondary box with the pixel art on it.
Watched your video (and liked it), looks like it's mostly packaging differences. The major difference to me was the art book, yours being a hardcover, while in Europe we got a softcover book. I think there's no real winner between the versions, both have something done slightly better than the other, yet both look totally awesome to me.
@@nintendo-maniac Thanks for checking out my video! Yeah I agree, it's relatively the same content with just minor differences. Just wondering why they are there to begin with. My theory is packing and shipping regulations but it's only a guess. Overall I think this is a great collector's piece for anyone who buys it.
The outer box print differences are no doubt due to regulations. Besides the inner box design Europe went the cheaper way: softcover instead of hardcover and no protective plastic bags. Different Nintendo offices, different decisions... Apparently we Europeans are cheap ;)
Really very good!
