  • It's THIRSTY THURSDAY!
Hey, thank you for joining us on this episode! We really appreciate the time you take to check out our videos.
On this episode we are tasting Rey Campero Mezcals made with 5 different varieties of Agave. The five Agaves used are:
    Espadin
    Mexicano
    Tepextate
    Cuishe
    Madre Cuishe
These bottles have been provided by Amigo Eric. He as been hunting these down for the past three months. This will be a great way to see how different Agaves used in the production of Mezcal impart thier flavor profile into the distillate.
Did the five Mezcals taste the same? Are they all different in their taste profile? How did we rank them? Watch this episode to find out the answers and more!

Good stuff guys, thanks. I was looking into the Espadin which I can get for mid $40's (750ml) in NY and seems like a great deal. I was gifted the Jabali last year so I know about Rey Campero. It's amazing but not cheap. Cheers from YorktownWhiskeyClub.

      Thank you for the comments!
The Rey Campero Espadin is definitely a solid Mezcal. One of our favorites. I still need to try the Jabali. It's on my list! SALUD!

You should try Sierra Negra or Arroqueño, those are my favorite wild agaves.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have tried Arroqueño from another brand and I liked it. I have not tried Sierra Negra. I will track that down. SALUD!
