  • For Andrew, especially the big fills at the end....you know why! 😂
Watch to the end for a lot of big fills!
My favorite track from Pictures At Eleven. When I first heard this album in 1983, I thought Cozy Powell sounded like he was playing this song as a tribute to Bonzo. It has a very Bonham-esque style, ala Kashmir, In The Evening... that mid section I was hearing For Your Life.
Cozy was such a great player, and friend of John's, I think he would have been a perfect choice for the Live Aid show. I guess he was busy....?

My first band and I used to do this song back in the mid 1980s. Cozy Powell was awesome on this song - RIP to him.

The stuff Plant did with Robbie Blunt are some of the best things to come out of the early 80s. So highly underrated.

This song is soooo good, like old school Led Zeppelin straight from the Physical /Presence era . Also on RP's first album Pledge Pin was fantastic. Will crank this one!

Finally!!! Someone does a drum cover (and a damn good one) of this awesome Cozy Powel performance on this song. Additionally, some more Cozy Powell covers would be AWESOME!!! Eespecially his work with Rainbow, Michael Schenker Group, and Whitesnake.

This is such a fantastic groove and tribute to Cozy. As you say he was a friend and similarly strong character like Bonzo. Big car enthusiast.
I saw him play with Blackmore’s Rainbow in Liverpool in 1976.
What a fabulous drummer he was.
Thank you as always George. Your playing is exquisite.
    Have a lovely Sunday !!

This was definitely Robert's first shot at really trying to capture some of that Led Zeppelin sound hard-core. All though Burning Down One Side was pretty close too.

FanFreakinTastic playing George, sounds very Bonhamesque, especially the jam at the end! So now we're getting into some of the solo albums, cool! Hopefully something from Outrider someday. Also, now that you've done most of the Zep catalog (& live stuff), plus covers of many of Bonzo's contemporaries, i.e. Ian Paice, Mitch Mitchell, Bill Ward, Neil Peart, Zigaboo, Purdie, Cozy and Phil, etc. Might we hope and ask for something by Moonie & The Who? Would love to see your take on Won't Get Fooled Again. Just sayin! 😜Thanks for all the great videos! ✌❤🥁

This is GREAT!!! So happy to see some love for early Plant solo. This track in particular is perhaps one of the only Plant solo songs that sounded like a lost Zeppelin track. And of course, the late and great Cozy Powell on drums.

This song is about being slow, washy, and solid, just like Bonham. Way too busy, and the timing is constantly up and down. Cozy like Bonham chose his fills accordingly, not every bar. It's just way too much. The end with no music was good but with the track a lot of work to be done. Less is way more on this track plsin snd simple. Redo it brother, I'm rooting for ya!
