why do people have to be so obnoxious at times? honestly I would NEVER make such remark simply because it is not relevant to what he does. i kinda find it a little rude too... last but not least, I enjoy the fact his hat amongst other more important things makes him recognizable in the fragrance world.

I used up one 100ml bottle of the edt and got the 150ml this year I just ordered the EDP and picked up the Cologne version for cheap. Solid line up. EDT is my favorite

I agree 100% on Cologne being my pick of the bunch, but I definitely pick up on that incredible almond note that pairs so beautifully with the grapefruit.
You know, someone is looking out for me because this is exactly what I needed Sebastian. lol I was on the fence about Ideal Cologne for literally a year until I finally purchased 2 bottles last week (it's that cheap right now). They haven't arrived yet, but it's so weird how you timed the video with Ashley. And since it's such a controversial fragrance online, it's always nice to get some validation. My love of Ashley just went up by a couple points. LOL Nahhh, I've always loved her.

Tried ideal cologne today....man,such a gorgeous scent!This is the safest blind buy ever...order it right after sniffing...gorgeous!

I blind bought the Cologne version today and it smells really nice!! My husband was very happy with the scent and we will see if it has average or below average longevity on him. Haven’t been able to track any of the others down in stores.

Cologne is my nº1 too! They removed the ambery base of the original edt and replaced with some smooth musk, it's an almost perfect summer cologne to my nose.

Although the edt doesn't meld into a perfect scent, the warm and fresh works for me as a cool season office companion.
The various gourmand, floral and leather facets reference aspects of life as a domesticated man.
Hey, Ashley! I love the smell of calone, too. It smells like someone next to you is eating watermelon while you're walking by the ocean. Good stuff!! BTW, I bought a bottle of Bentley Intense on your recommendation and I'm really digging the spicy, booziness of it. Best $30 fragrance out there.
Maaan, her taste is so waaay different than mine. I love that cherry L´Homme Ideal EDP and totally hate that super generic (underneath kind of sweaty) smelling Sport version. I rather use Sebastian as a refference. Allrady got the LIDGE EDT sample (based on your review) and it´s an amazing scent. Now waiting to get the EDP full bottle.

I have not tried the intense one yet but I love edt edp and cologne. All 3 are very nice while sport is just ok for me.

Just purchased The EDT Cologne Ideal pretty good but I prefer citrusy fragrances.Am I wearing it wrong?IMO it feels like it's smokey.I wear this one and alternate every other day with the original Issey Miyake and immediately I get compliments by women wherever I go.
Enjoyed the video even though not a fan of the Ideal series. Actually, tried to like Guerlains and bought two of their very popular releases - LIDGE and Habit Rouge, but did not really warmed up to them. Perhaps someday.

L'Homme Ideal Cologne smells damn good but the performance is weak so I always over spray, sure my bottle empties faster but it's inexpensive cologne, one of my go-tos for casual use. I've gotten multiple compliments with it and can attest that it's good juice for romantic encounters.
Finally someone puts the EDT towards the top where it should be. Extrême is the worst!

When I first and recently got into the fragrance world I blind bought 5 difference products and they were heritage and Lhomme ideal cologne by guerlain, eau de rochas edt, Versace man Eau fraiche and F Pour Homme by Ferragamo. Going forward I will resist the temptation to Blind by based on reviews I see on RUclips it's such a individual response to colognes based on what it smells like on my skin, but I'm am glad that Ashley does like the lhomme ideal cologne by guerlain

After watching this I think I'm goin to have to try the top 3 of those. I want a freshie/citrus that has more than just citrus, and all the ones I have don't. It's just citrus, maybe iris or something but the citrus overpowers and there's no surprise in the dry down which I want. Would anyone reading this who is familiar with these say that the cologne does have a pronounced tonka in the dry down?
I bought the black one after I smelled all of them in a Spanish mall, the black one is easily the most mystique and sophisticated and it SO good, I could take the bottle and just smell it the whole day, it's that fckn good.. I switch between that and Sauvage EDP
Which one smell better, guerlain homme or l'homme ideal? Which one has better projection n longetivity? Overall which one u recommend more?
Intense has such a dominant pepper note with smokiness which almost makes me sneeze like smelling real pepper powder. Wonder why she doesn't get that note? And all of these have noticeable almond accord.

I like the EDT it the only fragrance that have rosemary in it and I wasn't put off from using it again for starters, strong scent but not overpowering.
We all like different things and that's cool! I had three from this line and her favorite I actually sold because I didn't like it.

Only have the EDP (lg decant stage which means sample used and loved it-not @ fb but probably) but would love to try the other four, alas no access to Guerlain for me in the PA Styx. 😢 Being Sebastian and I have similar fragrance predelections I'd prob go with his order. Maybe someday I can try the rest. Good grapefruit for Ashley? She should try CARON Yuzu man or DSH Pamplemousse. 😋👍😍
I tried samples of the edp and edt. I bought the edt, which I really like.
I only have one from the ideal line and that’s the Cologne. It’s a bit overhyped if you ask me. What about Cool? Have you done the Cool ?
I totally agree that EDT is much better to my nose than the EDP. I don't like the Cologne as much, though.

My number 1 is the EDT too, then the cologne and then the intense . They are all great. Maybe not the blue one.
So bizarre to me that people dislike that sport version 🤔 i think its awesome was love at first sniff 👍 as far as the magnetic caps I also love them but not for every bottle design for instance this bottle couldn't be more perfect everything about it that positive locking snap when you push the cap on 👌 perfect for this bottle.
I also don't get it. I must confess that the sport version is my favorite. Yeah, it's aquatic, but it has this subtle sweetness and warmth to it. Crisp, clean, cold but also warm and cozy like a fireplace. Also most of the people say it's a summer scent. For me it's one of my winter favorites and I only use it in fall or winter. When I smell the fragrance I imagine me leaving the house at a cold winter morning or evening, feeling the ice cold air on my face. I think that's the crisp, aquatic character of the fragrance. But then I remember I am being warm and cozy in my thick winter jacket, taking a deep breath to capture the fresh air before taking a walk out in the nature. I don't get the "meh" reactions either.

Although I'd distinguishably vary from Ashleigh's preference, her opinions serve to help decide which one I would enjoy.
