Fishing on Nickajack Lake - Bass FIshing quick stop on my way to Lake Guntersville!

In this video I begin my journey down to Lake Guntersville for the FLW Costa Championship. I planned to leave a day early to get down here and do some fishing on Nickajack. Nickajack is part of the Tennessee River and is the pool just above Lake Guntersville. I assumed that the lake would fish similar to Guntersville and perhaps give me some clues as to what to look for in the actual tournament. I started out getting into town around 6 AM and proceeded to find a boat launch. It was easy but eventually I found it. I launched on Nickajack with high expectations and couldn't wait to try and catch a bass. I started on a great looking stretch of bank and within 200 yards of not getting a bit I knew it wasn't going to be easy! I jumped a round a bit and found that most of the bass where in the grass and towards the back of creeks. I caught a few fish on frogs and had a bunch of fish hit but could not get a hook in them. Caught some on reaction baits and one punhin. It is a cool looking lake it is just a bit tough on me today! I will be back on Lake NIckajack!

I fished my club classic on the big G the Saturday of the Coasta. Only had 9 lbs with 4 fish. It was tough fishing caught all ours on spinnerbaits in the over grass and edges. Probably caught 20 just 4 keepers, lost a giant on a bone head move trying to boat flip her cuz it happened right at the boat, she was around 8 or 9. Big ol silver dollar eyes

Love your videos and would like to hire a guided trip on the Chesapeake with you but the website listed keeps saying it is not a secure site. Is this the only way to contact you or is there another way to schedule a trip or two? What time of year is the best for fishing trip Chesapeake?
I had that happen before with someone who was trying to go to the website. I checked with my website company and they told me everything is fine on my end it has something to do with the setting on the computer of the person trying to look at my website.
