- Frontier proudly boasted that F1 Manager 2022 has a career mode that can stretch on forever. So what happens if you take the game from the 2022 season all the way up to the end of the 2030 season? How much will the teams change, who will be the frontrunners in 2030 and how much will the sport have changed in that time?

Alonso having success after moving to a British F1 team, Piastri having an underwhelming time in F1, Mercedes and McLaren being disappointingly slow and Gasly racing for Alpine - this video inadvertently predicted what we’re seeing right now in F1!
Just like your reverse grid series back in 2016 on rfactor
+hamilton leclerc merc ferrari swap😮😂
And that 2027 season is basically RB this year😂
May u ask how do you find out what a teams engine is that isn't yours?
@@_--SHATTER--_00 go to circuits click on a circuit and Powertrains usage and you’ll see what teams are running
F1 Manager is fun but flawed and success is inevitable, pretty much regardless of what the player does. The best way to play is setting yourself challenges such as making someone like Latifi WDC or only doing so much development
I just made Guanyu Zhou a Grand Prix Winner and I didn't even mean to do it. Far more fun than winning every race with Ferrari the first season (and I really wanted to have fun with them :/
I started a new play through. Started as alpha. Thing is I limited myself to not upgrading things and also when developing a new part not adjusting the sliders. Once you know the important are upgrade are 1. Underfloor then 2. Front & Rear wings it’s so easy. So I developed my car only on balance with zero performance upgrades. Then in season two I’m going to stop myself from doing any development or research for the whole season and see how it goes. Already in season 1 with 2 races left I will finish 3rd in constructors and 4 & 6th in driver even though piastri didn’t even participate in frost 3 races lol. Gasley already beat Perez year 1 lmao
@@robb5270 how didnt one of your drivers enter a race?
I can't get enough of the 10 seasons videos. Many other channels do the same but there's just something about the way you present it that makes it so interesting to watch. Whenever a new F1 game comes out I always eagerly wait for the new 10 season of Career video. Hearing the iconic "Right then guys" at the beginning of the video is like a dopamine hit for me at this point. Love your stuff dude.
Thanks! That's one of the nicest comments I've had and it's great to know people get excited about these videos
I think the main reason why this game is so mediocre is because of it's flawed rating system. Like you mentioned in the video, not only do older drivers not decrease in performance, younger drivers barely improve in it and underperforming has barely any effect in it. Which is why drivers like Tsunoda and Albon who are barely getting points, are still racing in 2030 as their rating is high. Even when any sensible team boss would had thrown them out for younger talent or at the very least, replacement.
This is why I prefer Motorsport Manager. Not only does it have extremely detailed mods that add driver academies and other interesting traits. Even in base game, most drivers stop improving by their late 20s and start to drop off in their 30s. Meanwhile, young drivers improve at rapid rate at their early 20s, especially if given track time. Of course, their growth depends on coded potential level, which would be hard to implement onto non-biased licensed F1 game, but it also gives AI teams insentive to hire young talent.
Not only that, it is way harder to stay consistently at the top, as other teams actually develop their cars. Drivers and race engineers constantly demand new upgrades and facilities. If player doesn't do as they say, their morale will drop and they will refuse to renegotiate with you. The game has built-in difficulty slider, which allows players to artificially perform worse if they became dominant (assuming that player isn't playing on hardest difficult from the start). Also players can actually change teams, unlike in F1 Manager. So if their team becomes overly dominant, they can start managing other team instead. You can also get fired by your boss so there is constant pressure to actually perform.
I hope that F1 Manager 2023 would at very least consider some of these features.
Today Fernando got P3 in 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix in Aston Martin seat
And you making payin too much attention to him. This is what I like f1
Good job PSL💪🏻
Appreciate your videos. I always click like before watching :)
I literally jumped out of my chair from sheer shock when I heard you say Sainz won the 2022 championship in front of Leclerc and Verstappen
Very good video mate I love f1 manager but you it's still got some flaws but i think since they focused on next years game I'm very excited
New video yay!!!
You gotta rate the commitment
Piastri was like the Bottas from 2017-2020
this game was fun until your driver lock up and happily wait all the car to pass..and my piastri lock up every single race..the stats are good but no improvement in game..
Problem with this game is with any team you can easily win everything in season 2. To the point every race just start 1 & 2 and run away with every race
How did you only get 29 points with Williams in season 2? I won everything in seasons 2 with Williams
true... it would be cool if you would able to change the difficulty
@@robb5270how did you win everything in S2?
I also had the same situation with pure domination on my Williams save, went to 2038 with consecutive driver and constructor titles since 2024. It just got boring with how far ahead the car was to second best team in the end
I'm having that in the actual F1 22 game, I can't get away from it
only thing i want to know is how did you get Max to keep his helmet while at HAAS
The biggest problem of this game is other teams are not developing through seasons like you, so after 2 seasons you will be unstoppable and the game is boring as hell from there.
In the begining of the video, Max is running in the Haas and looks like he is with his original Red Bull helmet.
Is that possible? I throught that every driver used a ganeric team helmet when change from his original one.
I think it’s a glitch it happened to me in my McLaren save. Not a mod as I’m on PS5
F1 manager had a lot of potential.. unfortuntely Frontier fucked everything by moving on to f1 manager 23 weeks after f1 manager 22 released. (And then decided to go back)
Also, a manager games are not good for yearly releases, just now we are getting cities skylines 2. Idk if Frontier was forced to do a yearly release model or if themselves decided to do, but it's stupid and has already damage their reputation with F1 fans.
how about motorsport manager?
Did you not build any parts at all? Just researched for the entire season?
I designed new parts until research was unlocked. From that point on, apart from any ongoing design projects, everything my team did was research for next season.
i done 10 season on ferrari and i win all TEN with only leclerc win!
i dont know i leclerc win this much but lest gooo
How do check what engine supplier each team has?
In the calendar tab there's a screen that shows you everyone's power unit component usage. It also tells you which engine each team is using.
@@PSLRacing thanks

Where can I see what teams have what engine supplier

Lewis Hamilton has retired in my game way earlier than yours did
Here are my 2 cents. Ferrari is OP in this game. In my first season, at Mercedes, there were only them and RB on the podium. Max won the WDC, but they took the WCC. From the season 2023 onward, there were only the Mercedes around. 🙂 The bottom teams were, 80% of the time, Aston Martin, Haas & Alpha Tauri. I've talked about Ferrari being OP. Well that was happening until I've took Tondi from them, which is the best Aerodynamics engineer from the game. From that moment on, Ferrari became a mediocre team, battling with McLaren & Williams, for the 4th spot. For the 2nd spot, the battle is between Alpine and RB, with the first winning every season, since 2026. Maybe that's happening because I've also took the best technical chief from the game, from RB, which is Pierre Wache. Still, RB is still a fierce opponent. Now, regarding the ratings from 18:02. I'm in 2029 and this is the top 10 ratings: Max 94, Sainz & Leclerc 92, Russell & Norris 91, Ocon 90, Gasly 89, Zhou & Piastri (3 WDC - Mercedes) 86, Magnussen & Albon 85. So, compared to your chart mine, although is from 2029, looks more realistic. 🙂 But, then again, you've forced the nature of things by keeping Alonso around until he was 46 yo. 😅 As for the free agents without a spot, the highest rated is Bearman, at 82, 23 yo, high potential, dropped from my Mercedes. I've told you his story in the 2023 video.
Vettel keep wrecking and became #2 driver for me, lol.

Lesson of the video: Piastri is a rip-off
share your save sir :) please
I never thought about sharing it, but it's not a bad idea actually. So I've added a link to the save in the description and put it here: drive.google.com/file/d/1Jx_oVsy2ytX8-lMG-a5kywZhIEUEKDen/view?usp=share_link
