This is literally why i LOVE strategy games like Tower Defense, Turn Based RPGS, RPGs in general and other games like HSR or CRK, Bloons TD6, Dungeon Crawlers. GOD i love strategy and intense gameplay like this its so much fun and you feel incredibly rewarded at the end. I adore TDS

In TDS i recently found a good loadout i can use which just contains 2 cheap towers 1 main dps tower, and 2 Supports all to solo fallen. (ut works and heres the loadout if you wanna give it a try) Military Base, (Reg) Cowboy, Ranger, Commander, DJ
It's always difficult to get the best experience out of playing a game like TDS, but we hope our videos make it just a bit easier to solve that difficulty!
the problem i have with the game is, that i have no friends to play with. Im trying to have fun in the game but always playing solo or with randoms isnt fun anymore. I never even tried really playing hardcore wthout people i know and it will never change ig. Its sad to think about never getting the full potential of the game cause you have noone to reach the new milestones with. Still nice to have some more tips and things to make the game more fun even for me and i have to say it helped me get a little closer to the game and make it an over all better experience. Whenever I play tds I always find a try hard to bosses people around like they are the “leader of the squad” it’s something that takes fun away but I still try to enjoy it
Now from a guy who’s above level 200 and played back before hardcore even launched here’s how I kept the fun going… (Hey heads up this is a LONG thing so ignore this comment if you don’t wanna read it). The start: before I even had one golden crate any of the good towers I just set up those basic goals very obvious in any td game I tried spicing it up with getting a friend or two or have other newbies work together to get the win since we all needed to get gold and yknow the meme ‘ape together strong’ really carry’s here. Middle stage (lv50+): I made a promise that I would beat EVERYTHING without using a online strat and it kept me going it make every win feel rewarding every loss felt personal that I could work with or I did some fun challenges to spice up the game (A few of mine I still use is summon only, stun only, tower Catagory I.E beginner, advanced towers only and my personal favourite randomised towers/mode really fun with a friend) The only time this has majorly effected me was solar eclipse and hardcore where I literally could not win… Late game (lv100+): now that you’ve gotten most towers I do suggest setting these 3 goals: 1. What skin do I want? 2. What towers will I always rely on when I do events? 3. Am I still motivated Obviously 1. It’s a good side goal since you know can grind most stuff easily allowing for a more easy time to acquire the goal you want for your towers 2. It’s something to be good with a habit because once you own that habit whenever you wish to spice up the game make sure those are the towers you ACTIVELY AVOID so the other towers feel more fun. And 3… back during solar eclipse night 4 I spend over 300 matches losing over and over and I was thinking… I’m doing all for a tower which isn’t even that great… is it worth continuously pushing my sleep cycle for a tower I’m not even gonna majorly use… now I’m a guy who wants to make it as fun as possible (hell my fallen loadout is full stun as it’s fun to slow enemys to be slower then enemys actually frozen) but if a tower is truely that nightmare to obtain then just take a break to think is this worth then doing anything else in your day because I heavily regret grinding that mode to hell… as tip 5 is mentioned make sure it’s fun and your not pushing it because ‘it’s limited time’ because that single handedly made me burnt out completely missing out on the next event because I used all my motivation and more to keep going. Sorry to hear that. I personally like playing with friends or doing dumb challenges to try and enjoy it. I wanted the motive of this video to encourage players to go beyond just grinding and getting towers and skins; there’s more to every game than just things like that!
I've been unknowingly following all the steps 1. I play strategy games on the daily, The act of learning where you go wrong is something permanently embedded in my brain, i also usually remember very tough waves/points in said game and usually try to prep for it I went from dying on wave 14 in fallen constantly to soloing fallen easily by myself 2. Ive learned how this works because ive played so much quad matches (quad matches only allow 20) so i tend to bring stronger punching towers and upgrade them in either max or the best upgrade cause not only tower limit but space is such a chore to maintain, you want towers to be in the most optimal spot but also save space for more towers to be in said spot So thats why I learned this, not by the tower linit or damage, but by space 4. I actually try to make some game fun by doing a tower randomazier or a fun challenge like: Support buffed (meaning only support towers not flags) hunter vs molten mode, and such Im always bored so whenever i play a normal game of tds i tend to fall asleep (im not kidding) 4. challenges are probably the only reason i keep playing tds, Theyre fun and the dopamine recieved after seeing that "Claim reward in the lobby" will always be the best 5. literally the only reason i play games To have fun Cause games are meant to be fun Whenever i feel like grinding i will, whenever i feel like doing a lil game i will It's how games are meant to be played, Just be yourself, dont follow the grind, the meta, the ranked, the status... Because in the end you'll become a husk trying to find enjoyment in a game you don't like playing, i do lots of meme loadouts cause why not? Nothings stopping you, nothing will.
I know this is going to sound insane, but I view TDS like chess. I minute to learn and a lifetime to master. There really is a lot strategy to the game. One bit of advice I'd give is "math is your friend, but there is no replacement for actually playing the game." Just wanted to add, your editing and composition of this video is excellent.

as someone who has made strats for tds i can relate to the part of it only takes 3 tests my first ever strat was able to win first try so yeah stats are a lot easir than normal btw great vid!

Lol, you definitely want to enjoy the game in its whole, but if you want to also progress then you need to have goals and strategies in mind. I like your energy though!
I haven’t finished that one militant mission (not fallen) and im thinking of doing vids of multiple games that I play or used to play for like a few minutes or doing comps of types of game I will play for a few minutes and then edit the video (which still be the first time I edit my videos in a long time)

5:38 I actually talked to noobicus on eggrypted's cashgrab video in the comment section lol 8:16 insane that so many people just play TDS for the grind and stuff, when I started playing TDS I told myself that I would only play this game if it was fun for me, and the same goes for all the other stuff I play.
I learned this after using the same loadout to grind pizza party squad and intermediate solo (I replace farm with DJ cuz eco is busted in solo) also took alot of trial and error but I found out my mistakes
NICE tips and great video its worth the wait i havent watch the full video ima edit this for more info and tip edit:Its ok to be bored its okay to try other games if the games boring then try another game you can always comeback the point of a game is "FUN" don't overthink it the fun becomes the passion to guide you.
My personal opinion is that a really efficient loadout would be: Mercenary Base, Warden, Engineer, Shotgunner, and Farm. The Warden + Shotgunner combo can get you far in most gamemodes in the early waves, and farming simultaneously can get you Level 3-4 Engineers placed to set up your Late-Game DPS. Mercenary Base, if done correctly, can be super OP if you get a bunch of Riflemen stacked and keep them alive for the final boss. Hope this helps!
for me getting better at tds isnt really that much about mechanical skill but more on strategical skill this is why its a strategy game but you can still get better at tds mechanically like pixel perfect placements fast micro with abilities
Not gonna lie, the reason why TDS isn't fun anymore is because my friends don't play it anymore. I always push them to try and give the game a chance and they'll always say something in the lines of "lazy + old TDS is better." The only time they'll really be active is during events. Another thing is that, the game is pretty demotivating when I have all towers besides Engineer. In the end game, there isn't much to look forward besides difficult challenges like Hidden Wave and Quickdraw which is basically impossible without a good team. I had so much fun when I did a Noob To Pro in TDS even when playing solo. Anyways, that's enough yapping. I hope the Halloween Event this year will cook.
I know..when I wrote the script for this video over a month ago, I wanted to go for something completely different than mainstream TDS Content. I was sure it was either gonna fail or do really well, but I wanted to try anyway. It turns out it isn’t the worst idea, but not the best motive due to the age of the audience of the game Im doing it on. Just wanted to explain that in case people thought I made it too serious (which I did)
The phrase "it's just a game" is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you've lost twice. There's always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle. -Ninja
Yeah like this is what I mean! I like doing stratless because it’s fun! Others doesn’t do it cuz they got no balls. Which then I understand. I too used to have no balls. But until I try do it stratless it’s way more fun than rely on Strat.
I made an alt account that’s lvl 30 right now. Think of buying e shocker or ranger, but I’ll do ranger if I keep playing pizza party. I have ace pilot farm and crook boss. Do you think doing fallen or pizza is better?
Fallen in most cases is more efficient since it now gives 1000 coins and isn’t as complex as Pizza Party, in my opinion. As long as you have a good strategy for Fallen, grinding that is better!
I only get to tip 5 but I kinda now know how to be better and have fun at TDS now, thanks man Not related but due to i have no friends can play TDS with me and crappy device those won’t be bery useful💀
I don't anymore, but I did have some speedrun.com records that were/are on FE2. I'm glad I had a phase of FE2 because I'm eternally better at Roblox Parkour now!

you forgot the main reason of losing: the 3 teammates that decided they didn't actually want to play only after entering matchmaking. Like bruh I just wanna play the game but apparently most TDS players aren't even here to, you know, PLAY the game?
Yeah..it’s a very common issue I’ve heard of. I suggest you try to make some friends when you do get good teammates, that way you all can stick together and are able to play whenever you can!
I know..I aimed for making a video that has a motive in the completely wrong category of RUclips. I wanted to try something new for the TDS community, but I realized that most players probably won't appreciate what I was trying to go for. It's okay though, I'll be doing more mainstream TDS Videos from now on.
If you're having trouble finding people, I suggest you find your way into the TDS Discord Server, they have a channel in there solely just so you can ask for people to play with. If you don't have Discord for reasons, then I hope you find players to play with!

My personal opinion is that a really efficient loadout would be: Mercenary Base, Warden, Engineer, Shotgunner, and Farm. The Warden + Shotgunner combo can get you far in most gamemodes in the early waves, and farming simultaneously can get you Level 3-4 Engineers placed to set up your Late-Game DPS. Mercenary Base, if done correctly, can be super OP if you get a bunch of Riflemen stacked and keep them alive for the final boss. Hope this helps!

for me getting better at tds isnt really that much about mechanical skill but more on strategical skill this is why its a strategy game but you can still get better at tds mechanically like pixel perfect placements fast micro with abilities

Not gonna lie, the reason why TDS isn't fun anymore is because my friends don't play it anymore. I always push them to try and give the game a chance and they'll always say something in the lines of "lazy + old TDS is better." The only time they'll really be active is during events. Another thing is that, the game is pretty demotivating when I have all towers besides Engineer. In the end game, there isn't much to look forward besides difficult challenges like Hidden Wave and Quickdraw which is basically impossible without a good team. I had so much fun when I did a Noob To Pro in TDS even when playing solo. Anyways, that's enough yapping. I hope the Halloween Event this year will cook.

I know..when I wrote the script for this video over a month ago, I wanted to go for something completely different than mainstream TDS Content. I was sure it was either gonna fail or do really well, but I wanted to try anyway. It turns out it isn’t the worst idea, but not the best motive due to the age of the audience of the game Im doing it on. Just wanted to explain that in case people thought I made it too serious (which I did)
The phrase "it's just a game" is such a weak mindset. You are ok with what happened, losing, imperfection of a craft. When you stop getting angry after losing, you've lost twice. There's always something to learn, and always room for improvement, never settle.

Yeah like this is what I mean! I like doing stratless because it’s fun! Others doesn’t do it cuz they got no balls. Which then I understand. I too used to have no balls. But until I try do it stratless it’s way more fun than rely on Strat.

I made an alt account that’s lvl 30 right now. Think of buying e shocker or ranger, but I’ll do ranger if I keep playing pizza party. I have ace pilot farm and crook boss. Do you think doing fallen or pizza is better?
Fallen in most cases is more efficient since it now gives 1000 coins and isn’t as complex as Pizza Party, in my opinion. As long as you have a good strategy for Fallen, grinding that is better!

Yeah..it’s a very common issue I’ve heard of. I suggest you try to make some friends when you do get good teammates, that way you all can stick together and are able to play whenever you can!
