    Hi, if I specialized in something in high school, would it help with admissions? (Like taking every music class, or every computer science class, etc.)

    • @EmilyIsabel
      @EmilyIsabel 5 лет назад +8

      Matthew Blonder absolutely! But specializing isn’t just about taking classes. Try summer programs, internships, competitions and clubs.

    depression and suicide are very real among CC, SEAS, and Barnard. If you are a generic middle-class, non NY native kid with preexisting mental health issues, and if you are lucky enough to have other good options, try not to come to Morningside Heights!!!

    • @JL-jh6zn
      @JL-jh6zn 4 года назад

      Dara Lully L.C could you explain this a little more? I just applied to transfer to Barnard

    • @Diamondhamster
      @Diamondhamster 4 года назад +2

      @@JL-jh6zn Tbh I think Barnard has a WEALTH of mental health resources, and many profs are super understanding when mental health gets in the way of your studies. College is tough for ANYONE who has pre-existing mental health issues, and as a Barnard student, I definitely disagree with this person's statement that u should avoid Barnard to maintain ur mental health.
