My lava lamp turned out a little bit fat but it is so cute! I used a purple/ pink color. First time doing an animation and it was a lot of work but very rewarding. Thanks for the great in-depth tutorial!
I love this tutorial so much! it was a fun one to do, I'm almost done with mine, just got some final touchups to do and then it's complete. I love the inking, stippling and texture bundle. I was having a hard time using the procreate soft brush so I ended up purching the brush bundle, was definetly worth it. I can't wait to create more animation, please make more of these, I love learning about animations and following along.
I used the same color palette as you for my first try so I didn’t have to think too much because this was my first time doing animation! Loving your tutorials!

I use green and yelow and make it like tornado hit it. :) i spend 3 h and rewind film at 16 to 19 minutes so many times as some how my procreate did not want to work like yours. but i walk around it after 6 atempts.

Thanks Genevieve. Your tutorials are always brilliant. Could I ask you a silly question please? Do you rest your hand on the iPad or do you hover it really gracefully. I find it really hard to draw hovers but none of the gloves I have tried seem to work for me 🤷♀️

I really enjoyed this tutorial, you introduced a lot of new features and concepts. I decided to use dark blue as my color to match my daughters lava lamp. ‘A suggestion in the future you might want to break up these very long tutorials into parts. I also really enjoy you explanations, they help me understand why I am doing something.
I finished mine. It took me 7 hours because the threshold line never filled in with the hard brush and I had to re trace every part of the animation lava 😭
I have a question about using paper texture files. I followed the instructions you have for placing it above my work.. but for some reason everything I drawn is hidden if I don’t draw above it. What am I doing wrong?
