I remember I got this game as a kid, and I would go weeks without playing it because I didn't have the courage. Eventually, I got the courage to play and I was so proud when I finally beat the game. Lots of frustration and confusion in some parts but this was the game that got me into the Resident Evil franchise.

I really wish they would make another RE game with Rebecca as the main protagonist. the character was a really nice one and could definitely deserves her own game. I would also like it (if they ever make it lol) if they added an updated Rebecca Chambers to RE verse

This walkthrough saved me a massive headache. There were so many times in the game where I could of got lost, but this walkthrough saved me.

Without a walkthrough of this game I would have rage quit by now.
Walkthroughs are the worse thing ever, much better to keep dying until you work out yourself how not to die. The game will take longer but much more rewarding.

I finished this game on the hard mode (why hard bcuz I'm stupid), I had several heart attacks and I went crazy but finishing this game is my highest life achievement and I'm so proud of it absolutely worth it haha thanks for the video

That was an awesome story. Billy gets to start and live a new life. Rebecca Chambers gets to return to S.T.A.R.S.! It's too bad the rest of Bravo Team didn't make it.
She completes all the horror of this game and has to go straight into the horrors of the first game. No break for her.
I recently re played this game and beat it. I loved the story line then and I still love it now. I really wish we would all know what happened to Billy and Rebecca after the tragic horror. it would be so cool to have a game to see Rebecca again as well as Billy.

Anyone else find is odd that they let Rebecca, a small, petite woman search for this highly trained murderer alone in a dark forest?
This game is one of my favorite RE games. It has the best prerendered environments of any game in the series and the attention to detail on everything is polished to a mirror sheen, even more than REmake. But that inventory management.....it cannot be understated how bad it is. I like the mechanic but it definitely needed some polish. 2 handed weapons shouldn't have taken two item slots and the player should have had expanded inventory. If they did that, I could live with the drop mechanic.
For real tho that kills the whole game when you carry the shotgun or grenade launcher
Yep! The drop management is horrible. The hook shot and having to carry that stupid thing around while managing and dropping the other items was a royal pain. If they retooled this to have an item box -or- expandable item inventory, It would put this game in my top 3. But it’s down near the bottom ( for me) for this very reason.

Isaiah Welch Probably due to exhaustion. Going through a giant training center, treatment plant, factory, and a chunk of a giant mansion while running around fighting monsters would probably leave anyone tired and weak.

Inventory management was a nightmare and Marcus's Final Fantasy villain cosplay was a bit much, but this is still one of my favorite REs of all time. Loved the overall atmosphere of the locations.

I am glad dropped items stay where they're put. That's the only improvement to this otherwise awful inventory system.
Really appreciated some of the little callbacks, such as Rebecca's rusty piano skills, and seeing hints as to Albie and Willie's origins as hand-picked (and manipulated) Umbrella minions. Umbrella with all that loyalty and obedience motto crap... very on-the-nose satire.

Hmmm. I think the two characters gimmick is cool and obviously the aesthetic. But I think the inventory management is awful tbh. It makes it way more tedious. Also, in a lot of Areas it really forces you to kill, yet, there is not enough bullets.
This game definitely has the best level designs everything else is very meh. I think if Capcom remastered the game they should make the hookshot its own inventory spot and add the boxes that you can store stuff.

Per the Resident Evil Wiki:
Upon returning to Raccoon City after the Mansion Incident, Chambers filed a report falsely claiming that Coen had died during the initial attack on the van, keeping her word.According to the report, Bravo Team was forced to leave Coen's body behind at the site of the MP vehicle. She went on to request a suspension of the case. As of September 1998, when the Raccoon City Outbreak occurs, it is unknown if this suspension was carried out. However, any police records of the case are presumed destroyed following Raccoon City's destruction. Billy Coen's current whereabouts are unknown.

I really liked this game. It really felt like the Resident Evil I grew up with. I wish Capcom would had follow up on the stories instead of coming up with new irrelevant stories.

Reminds me so much of the Dino crysis days, camera angle, the way you were transitioning between scenes, shooting mechanics, heck they even got similar sound effects.

Same. I didn't know how to multiply completely at the time when i first played this as a kid, and adding took too long when a big number showed up in the puzzle. That puzzle is easy as hell these days lol.

For example if you are in the library you have to take the eyes out of the goat head to lead you to two separate keys (one probably in the attic and the other in the basement) to ... use the bathroom.

Re0 Has an interesting story plot, but the item management is a mess. I don't think I've ever died this much in a game before, the health was scarce and I think that has fucked me up playing this game. I like how they gave Rebecca her own game though, she's a pretty cool character as well as Billy but the Item management had me crying in the shower.

The item management is pure crap, atleast 8 slots shouldve been given.
The real crap is the saving system.
Lmao 8 is overkill, play Re1 as Chris and you only get 4 slots.
You think this system was bad, then you never played RE: Outbreak Files #1 & 2.
THAT system blew completely, because it was in real time. You never had the ability to keep everything organized, AND you had to read all the files in real time.
