There is something about holding a large turkey leg in your hand.. you have to try it! lol
Hello!! I’m curious as to how many hours it took for the legs to reach their cooked temp at 300 degrees?
Mr. Baum brine! Excellent! Love those vids. Easy, direct and to the point. Have to try it soon. Thank you! God bless you n family always . Btw the 13 thumbs down must be the turkeys.
Am I the only one that thinks this video is a whole vibe
I cannot stand when people don’t give a timeframe for their cook.
That’s what I was waiting for
Time is always dependent on your setup.. you should cook to temp not time 👍
@@BaumGrillinzBBQstill, I'm curious what kinda ballpark we're in.
In another comment he said between 60-90 minutes.@@oohhhhh
Looks delicious how long did you let it cook on the grill for
I appreciate the time to make the instructional content with some production value, but that song setting in for over a minute for a charcoal montage made it unwatchable
Turkey legs, thought i had enough turkey for Thanksgiving dinner, now you got me craving turkey legs. Thanks a lot bro lol. Great video and recipe, two thumbs up👍👍
Thank you! I thought I did as well, can’t pass up a big ol’ turkey leg!
what liquid is that for fire starter?
Did you leave the vent opened closed or half way?
I believe I had the vents on the bottom open and the vent on top half way open. If you find the grill gets too hot close the bottom vent half way! Hope this helps!
I recommend 4hr+ smoke if y’all didn’t know
My boy Josh Allen sure ate one of those last night. GO BILLS! 😆
Good cook again Kenny. Love the outtakes brother! Lol
Ya he did! That was a great game! Go Bills! I had fun with them turkey legs! Haha
I don't think he ever said about how long he had them on there
Your right I didn’t! I would say I smoked them for about 3 1/2 to 4 hrs. Make sure you give them a look every so often though. Really you are cooking to temperature so it could take more or less time! Thanks for pointing that out! Enjoy!
I had to come on here cause I seen the turkey leg that's a cute turkey leg what is that 1 or 2 pounder 😂😂😂 I got some turkey legs that are way bigger than that 3xs bigger
i don't think i caught to total cook time on the grill?
Would you just look at that just look at it !
Haha!
I completely forgot about your channel, how's it going dude? Can't believe how long it's been since we worked together.
Hey Jesse it’s been along time lol hope you are doing well! I’ve got a new channel I’m working on now called Baum Outdoors. Check it out 👍

No I have not! I will have to give that a try!!! Sounds absolutely delicious!
What liquid is that for the fire starter? Look interesting. Great video.

You can never go wrong with some good turkey! Haha!
Will be doing this up at our next camout!!!! Nicely done, love the ending🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks fantastic and delicious now where is the mashed potatoes and green beans casserole to go a long with the turkey legs
I'm really baffled about him spraying Pam on them
Damn near pulled a jaw muscle watching this
Great video I really enjoyed watching it.
That was an awesome video Mr. Baum. 👍👍👍
i think you need gayer songs in the background
Long video bro!!!
there's one leg missing , unless he had one three legged turkey
🤣😂
He is not really smoking his turkey leg he is steaming never soak wood chips or chunks. wont get good smoke i use wood chunks it smokes longer begging of smoking you want the best smoke right away that is where the best smoke flavor is.
I soaked my wood chips otherwise you get flair ups... sure you may have some steam at the beginning but it will dissipate. If I was using chunks of wood I would not soak them.. unfortunately I did not have chucks only chips during this cook.
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ I never heard of flair-ups or seen it while cooking indirect I used chips dry and chunks dry. I even smoked wagyu beef indirectly without flair-ups. The time that steam is giving off is flavor lost. When first started out BBQing I did it that way but the best way is dry. hands down.
Nom nom nom!! Sure looks, smells, and tastes great!!!! Thanks for the recipe!!!!!
It was delicious!! I could eat turkey legs all day! Haha
That charcoal you are using is the best. Good for fast or slow cooks, it the Baum!
Haha! Yes it is good stuff! I like it a lot! Thank you for watching! 😊
Looks yummy
180 degrees
good job amazing work
yes it easy recipe for us. my time is now 9.20 p.m and wathed your entertainment video. thank you for turkey leg grilling. can u do for us beef stew in your cast iron stew pot?
Thanks!! Beef stew sounds delicious! I can do that!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ thanks .
Hey, are you playi g with your food?!! LOL!
houston sam maybe a little hahaha!
The Gieco cavemen were a nice touch
I thought so too haha! Once I said it I had to add it in. Glad you enjoyed it!
My Weber is not that clean.
Nothing wrong with a well seasoned grill 👍👍
How long did it take?
You really shouldn’t go off of time so much as temperature of your food. You want to smoke them for as long as you can at a low temp so they can really draw in the flavor. If i had to guess it probably took a hour to an hour and a half to get to the proper temp of 180. Time will differ for each situation though. Hope that helps!
Nice
Thank you! 😊
How long ruffly do they take in the grill
90 minutes.. But cook to temp not time.
These look amazing...ty for sharing! What is that device and liquid you used in the beginning to start the chimney with? I normally use paper but this seems like a better option.
Thank you so much! The little device is a steal cup and the liquid is 91% isopropyl alcohol! It makes for a great fire starter and burns clean.
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ TYSM! ♥️
I don’t like it
I’m sorry 😞
What's not to like brother?? 🤣
